The Child was discovered at 8:30 pm on Saturday. The mother finally calls the PD on Sunday evening, asking if she would be arrested. She already has 2 warrants for her arrest for incidents prior to this: One warrant was for a parole violation in 2002; the other was for an alleged theft in St. Louis County. So far, she has not come forward to get her child.


She is worried about herself, but obviously not her child. This child could have been picked up by a predator and the worst could have happened. But she is more worried about herself! :mad:

I'LL TAKE HIM! The poor little guy. I'm glad they said he ws in good spirits. It makes me wanna cry to think of a mall security guard picking up this baby and talking to him trying to figure out where he goes and why he's alone. :(

One can only hope that she's outside walking one day and a flying brick hits her in the head and kills her.

Seriously, once a child is abandoned or abused the first time, there should be a law that these women be sterilized so they won't have another child to mistreat. If women would say NO, then the sperm donor would GO on to another person. If they can catch the BF or daddy, castrate him. IMO

According to what was reported on the news tonight the mom told LE that the little guy got left because there was miscommunication between her and someone else.
That could possibly be (but I doubt it..a good story to come up with) but doesnt explain why it took so long to claim the child.

Sure :rolleye0001: She also had two outstanding felony warrants to arrest her on other charges. She didn't want to get arrested. But she needs that welfare check. Hopefully, the child will be taken away from her until she decides whether (a) her child is her primary concern (B) drugs, crime & a man is worth more then her kid.

Are the 5 siblings mentioned in the article this woman's kids? The article says a total of 8 kids were at the mall with the Aunt and this woman. I'm guessing the Aunt has 2 kids and the other 6 belong to the woman arrested!

Personally, I think she will choose (B). She looks like the type. IMO

I hope this will not be another case where the child falls between the crack.
This woman has issues and this child should not be placed back in her care. In fact, the other children need to be removed permanently from the home.
The Aunt is not any better if she cannot keep up with all the children at the mall. WTH is wrong with people.
The mother needs to sit her worthless rear-end in jail then be taken straight to the hospital to be fixed! :attention:She is worthless and will never change. JMHO
