I just heard Jambois ask about Klug, has Dr. Quack said anything about his testimony today?
Oh yeah, at one point he claimed he didn't know who Klug was, then later he started yelling that it was absurd that the prosecution is believing someone who came 9 years after the fact... So basically he knew all about Klug all along. IMO he knows this case inside and out. He is a piece of work.

I just heard Jambois ask about Klug, has Dr. Quack said anything about his testimony today?
Well Jambois asked him if he knew who Ed Klug was and the doc said no and Jambois asked again in an incredulous tone and he said no. Then I think later the doc contradicted himself by admitting he had seen something of Ed Klug's statements? And then started to say something about being skeptical of statements made and evidence produced months before a trial. As to what he said or commented about Klug's statements I don't know - if asked he probably didn't straight up answer.

I did catch the so-called doctor say he wouldn't consider any of the info from the prosecutions side. Amen and bingo, sister! There is nothing to hide when it comes to payment of expert fees -- experts can charge whatever the client is willing to pay. No reason in the world to be dishonest about that. And if someone is willing to lie over something in which there's really no stake in lying, not much of a leap to think they'd be capable of being dishonest where there IS a stake, such as in an expert's reputation for delivering the goods for his clients.
Not looking good for ol' Marky Mark and his "fun bunch" is it? :girl_haha:

He charges $360 and hour for research pre-trial and $420 an hour during the trial.
He's got 50 hours of research in already, according to him. And who knows how much for the trial, airfare, hotel, transportation.
DH and I did the math and we figured he's at around $25,000 after today.
50 hours of research. I just don't think so, doc.
He wasn't doing enough research. He is only coming up with what Albee wants him to think! Follow the $$$$$$$, it leads to the truth!

But he took information that he didn't know if it was credible or not and made his decision?????
This is not the first time we've heard expert testimony given only taking certain points into account..then on cross they simply say, it's irrelevant..or it's of no consequence..and hope the jury byes it..so for this guy..unfortunately he has been shown up for his buas and that he based his final opinion on faulty information and did not consider ather input..SO guess what..this Forensic Psychiatrist..just blew his credibility.
As for Dr. Rusn.....he's also blown his credibilty..as he was noteably hedging..and now he will be proven to be evasive?/..Albee..U R in trouble!

The defense isn't looking too good.
I think today's guy must have looked very bad. What sort of expert bases an opinion on evidence that can't be verified (the whole string of baloney presented by the Jensen family), and doesn't even consider the possibility of homicide when forming an opinion as to whether Julie commited suicide or not. To not even consider for a moment Julie's behaviours and state of mind in her last few days within the framework of a possible homicide paints him to be what he was. A well paid witness. How can you form an opinion without weighing both sides?
And to top that off, tomorrow morning, with information that Dr. Rumack lied about his payment, by material proportion, is not going to look good either. Sure hope MJ doesn't win an appeal on ineffective counsel, because at this point... Mr. Albee should have his tail between his legs. He is the boss of the defense, isn't he?
I wonder how defense supporters will put a happy face on this? I'm sure they will find a way

Hi hi!!
Just got in a while ago with popsicle toes and now I am trying to figure out what I missed! Looks like a LOT!!
Is Doctor Haughty still on cross as the day ended??
I'm now having a mental block on whether Jambois finished or not.... because the big news is that Dr. Rumack actually got paid $16,750 SO FAR, and not the measly $7000 he said he'd recieved.
Just was red hot mad that he lied about a material fact. Told Albee to get him on a plane~ back out to answer to that!
And... so much for Dr. Rumack's comment about being able to buy his grand kids a few toys with these monies... unless he buys them new cars!
I remember Jambois saying he is NOT done with this witness (Spiros). But, I can't remember if that was at the very end of the day or sometime earlier.

2 questions came to mind when I got over there. When I think of one, I try to think of how the defense would fight it, so most of the time I shoot myself down.
I loved how things ended today with the judge yelling about Dr. Rumack getting on a plane and back in his courtroom. Would love to have a video camera on that "Airplane", maybe we could come up with a new movie. Bet Rumack will be talking some jive when he gets back before Schroeder.

Lie for the living even though they are the reason the dead or dead? I never heard anything so nutty. Who ever says that must not believe in a life after death. IMO, they are in for a rude awakening when they ever die.
If it were my brother and my sister-in-law, I don't think I could live with myself if I had knowledge or a suspicion my brother was involved.

Some would say.....lie for the living.....becasue the dead are dead.Oh gosh, I would hope not! Personally, if I don't tell the truth I can't sleep. I would like to believe that I'd tell them I love them, but for my own sanity I couldn't lie for them. Hiding from the truth doesn't protect someone, it only exposes more. Look what all we know about the Jensen family that had truths been told years ago, we would never have found out.

No shame in that at all. Everyone is different.

This is a hard question to answer. I hate being lied to so I really aspire to not lie myself. However, I admit that I'd want my brother to be completely honest with me about what happened. If it was truly an accident or moment of rage, I'd have a heavy, saddened heart and give all factors consideration.
But when it comes down to the 'what's morally right' in my heart, I seriously don't think I could live with myself if I didn't go to cops and give as accurate account as I could about what I was told.
In a situtation such as MJ and Julie. I truly believe I'd risk being ostracized from my family and do what was right. Then, not look back.
