Did this girl have mental health issues or prior suicide attempts? I really haven't been following the story.

I do not know if there were prior suicide attempts, but there was a history of depression.

I watched it.
What about the first story? The horrible car crash that killed that girl, then pics of her mutilated body were posted all over the internet?

Megan had no prior suicide attempts...though she was "clinically depressed" and on anti-depression meds. She had low to non existant self esteem.
LD KNEW damn well the results of her game would have disastrous effects on Megan. Her...her employee and her daughter "ganged" up on Megan. LD knew it was wrong...she knew she was culpable because the minute the ambulance left the Meiers that night...she rushed to make phone calls to the other perps about keeping quiet and getting rid of the "Josh" profile. THAT alone showed guilt.
Now LD is back peddling claiming it was the employee that sent the nasty messages......that all kinds of other people had access to Joshs profile and the ability to send messages.
I have followed this since day 1.....if anyone would like a link or two to read further.....holler and I'll help if I can

This incident with Megan rang some bells for me.
Not only the internet harrassment (which I have had to endure myself),
but the fact that girls ARE targeted by other girls in school as well. I suspect that Megan was having problems in school. And the fact that an ADULT female would do this...is despicable! Obviously Drew is a bully still.
I had a book with me on vacation this year, and for those here who are interested ~~ it is soooooo good. And painful to read too.

Rachel Simmons Odd Girl Out ~~ The Hidden Culture of Aggression in Girls
I strongly recommend it. All of the women here can relate in some fashion, I am sure.
The MySpace thing? Well, I think that place is horrible. Unmoderated, and encourages all sorts of deviant behavior. A recent visit of mine (based on a TV show I saw), was horrifiying. To think that young kids can read about BDSM any old time and see other kids flaunting their bodies and pushing drugs...YUK YUK. Give the bullies from school ~~ who ARE being handled finally there~~ free rein to bully on line instead? It is just SICK.

What about the first story? The horrible car crash that killed that girl, then pics of her mutilated body were posted all over the internet?I saw those pictures posted on someone's myspace account....it started out as a video of drunk driving accidents that kind of teach kids not to drink and drive.......then all of a sudden that child's picture just loomed out at you...I can only imagine how her parents felt...they were terrible...I don't see how any human could post something like that...her face was gone!
