Bois has been transferred from hospital to jail. I cannot wait to hear GUILTY and lock him up forever. Jojo was beautiful, loved life, her family and friends and all animals. I still can't believe she is not with us today.

Man found guilty in rape, murder of Weymouth girl, 6
Life sentence mandatory
DEDHAM - Tears flowed in every corner of the courtroom yesterday as a jury convicted Ryan Bois of raping and killing his 6-year-old cousin two years ago and a judge sentenced him to four life terms in prison, capping a six-day trial day trial that started with jurors visiting the Weymouth bedroom where the horrific crime occurred.
Seconds before issuing her sentence, Judge Janet Sanders told the packed courtroom, "This is the worst I've seen in my 14 years as a judge." Afterward, she strode out of the courtroom with tears running down her face.
While about a dozen relatives and friends of victim Joanna Mullin attended the trial in Norfolk Superior Court from start to finish, Joanna's parents stayed away, saying they could not bear to attend. But the parents, Jerry and Heather Mullin, did prepare a victim impact statement that Joanna's aunt read prior to sentencing.
Bois, dressed in a black suit and white shirt, kept his head tilted down throughout the trial, never looking directly at the victim's family. Yesterday he showed no emotion, even while Janet Mullin-Saucedo, Joanna's aunt, read the page-long statement.
"Ryan, we did nothing but try to help you get your life together because you were family," Mullin-Saucedo read. "There will never be an explanation that will mend the hole in our hearts. And in our minds, this is truly the ultimate betrayal. Our beautiful, perfect daughter should still be here today. Because of you, she is not."
The jury of 9 women and 3 men deliberated for about 8 hours, starting Wednesday. They convicted Bois of first-degree murder, two counts of rape, home invasion, kidnapping, larceny of a motor vehicle, larceny under $250, malicious destruction under $250, failure to stop, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Bois was acquitted of possession of a Class B substance and driving with a suspended license.
The murder conviction carried a life sentence without parole and Bois received three life sentences with the possibility of parole for the two rape convictions and the home invasion conviction.
Bois, 22, pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. From the outset of the trial, his lawyer, Beverly J. Cannone, described him as a man besieged by psychological problems. In her opening statement on March 5, she told the jury, "Ryan Bois is not a monster, not evil incarnate." She kept to her defense of Bois minutes before Sanders issued her sentence, saying, "I stand firmly by what I said in the beginning. This would have never occurred that night if he had been in his right mind. If he could take that night back, in a heartbeat he would."
But prosecutor Robert Nelson said Bois was a calculated killer who had a clear understanding of what he did on Aug. 4, 2007. He said Bois broke into his grandmother's house and raped and strangled Mullin while she was at a sleepover.
He wrapped her body in bed sheets and a quilt, stole keys to his grandmother's sport utility vehicle, and put the body in the back seat. Nelson said that Bois then called an acquaintance to pick up drugs in Dorchester and during the conversation asked the acquaintance how to dispose of a body.
Bois was apprehended after leading Weymouth police on a high-speed chase and crashing the SUV into a taxi on East Howard Street in Quincy.
Outside the courthouse yesterday, Nelson and Norfolk District Attorney William R. Keating spoke about the emotional toll of the trial. Keating called the case "every parent's nightmare.'
Nelson, who teared up during his closing argument Wednesday and again yesterday, said: "I think it all builds up. You try to hold it in and be professional, but when the verdict came in, it just hit me."
Both men hugged Mullin's relatives and friends yesterday, minutes after the verdicts were read.
James Mullin, he victim's uncle and a Weymouth police captain, attended the entire trial, and as he left the courthouse yesterday, he said of Bois's demeanor, "I didn't see any remorse from that kid, not a drop."

We are all so happy that he got what he deserved. I'm glad Heather and Jerry took the family to Disney while the sentence was passed, they have been thru enough. May he pay everday for the rest of his miserable life. We are having another bike run this July 18th and one in October for then Enwistle family.
