I want to address a couple of issues before they take on a life of their own...

It has been brought to my attention that many people believe this is an 'invitation only' board. It is not, it's open to anyone that wants to post here.

No invitation is needed

The second thing I keep getting asked is if I will let cliques of poster run the boards like they do at CTV getting people they don't like banned or getting a group to attack certain posters.

My answer to that is No... the Mods/Admin here run the board, we all know what needs/should be done to keep things running as smoothly as possible.

All boards get their share of trolls/bashers/troublemakers and we will probably be no different. Where we will be different is we have things in place to deal with these problems when/if they arise.

No one is automatically banned because a post has been reported. We will look at the post in question, what led up to the that post and then we will deal with it in what we feel will be the best possible way and that does not always mean banning. I don't like to ban people unless absolutely necessary.

If anyone has a problem with anything on the board we have a place called 'Talk To The Moderator' in the Administrative Forum. That area is to help resolve issues that you may have with the board and others can weigh in with their thoughts also. Or you can pm any one of us.

This is a privately owned board and is not paid for by some huge corporation. We are inviting you in to our home to meet with friends, talk about Trials, Missing Persons, Politics or whatever else is on your mind. A brief OT - one of the funniest moments in my life was on my first time skiing, just a quick trip with some coworkers, including the CEO of my small company, my boss. Perfect skiing weather - which meant not one locker available - we put our shoes on top of the lockers - very high, not visible. At the end of the day - my boss's shoes were not to be found - had been stolen. My boss - a huge Norwegian guy, had to tiptoe around in borrowed snowboard boots that were too small, because his smelly, cheap, dirty, holes developing in the sole, sneakers were stolen! He always bought cheap shoes, and wore them until they were in shreds, and these were in shreds - and someone actually stole them! We just died laughing, over and over again. He had to beg a ride home - he'd walked to where we carpooled at, and realized he couldn't walk back, just in his socks.


The lesson is - no shoes are safe!

i just want to thank every one for their support. i am pleading with all reader of this and other sites that have info about lisa michelle to write to the gov of pa and to the senator of pa and to the missing person dept that is handling this case and encourage them to pay more attention to this case. lisa was a vertram she served her country abd i think it only fair for the country to help bring her home.

Hi Everybody, I have been with ctv for awhile and I must admit lately I have gotten really tired of all the rude comments to other posters and awful comments because someone else does not agree with them. For some reason ctv was shut down for memorial day weekend and it gave me plenty of time to come over and check out this site. I just love it. Everybody seems so nice and so willing to work together to find the missing. Hopefully we can all help each other out and find justice for those that have been victimized. Hi Everybody, I have been with ctv for awhile and I must admit lately I have gotten really tired of all the rude comments to other posters and awful comments because someone else does not agree with them. For some reason ctv was shut down for memorial day weekend and it gave me plenty of time to come over and check out this site. I just love it. Everybody seems so nice and so willing to work together to find the missing. Hopefully we can all help each other out and find justice for those that have been victimized. The one thing I really appreciate about this site is that no one is allowed to be as tacky, rude, and hateful to each other over here. Its because of the great management of this board and the people (posters). JMHO :)

I joined a few months ago, but have only read until recently. I am so delighted and impressed with HFTM, its administrators and mods, and members! :zm10: A friend who has been a member for quite awhile suggested I check the place out-she just loves it and thought I would, too. She's right! :basic44: I've been posting on the FLDS forum and despite people having very different views, all are respectful of each other. Quite an accomplishment!

I also found information on Amos Mortier, a young man I had wondered about, but whose name I had forgotten. The news isn't good and he is still missing, but at least his family has more information. :(

I am really impressed with this site and the dedication of all who run it. I've been an avid reader of other missing person sites but I must say I think I've found a home.

I'm just a Jersey Girl who is still amazed at the number of people that walk out the door and are just *POOF* gone. I don't know about others but I really get a sense of joy when I read "Found Safe". The number of children astounds me to know end. My greatest joy is their return. Although each and every person counts I'm alittle more partial to the young and elderly. I hope to aquire some new friend here and welcome all requests.:11_2_104:

I agree with Gramybear. Although I did enjoy making a few friends from June or July of last year until December on the old CTV board, I was always afraid I would say something that would get me blasted by someone. And it sure happened a few times. Frankly I have never been talked to so rudely as on there one day. I still go back and read but seldom post. Here I know I can say what I think. Well, I do put IMO, or JMO...etc.
And we are all here for a common cause. To get them all home.
I hope it is alright to add this. Lauren Halleck has www.porchlight.com or org, not sure, but she is a very nice and kind person. And their saying is to

Hello everyone, I thought I'd best say hello in the correct place, I wasn't on any of the boards you are talking about, I found this board only this week while checking out the Neil Entwistle trial on you tube and googled and ended up here.

I would just like to thank all of you that so graciously welcomed me. I haven't been a member long but I look forward to being here for awhile. I know also that there is a board of itself to offer help but while I'm here I'll limited to what I can do (my home computer is down) but whatever I can do I will.
Thanks again, this site is so far the best yet. The community is wonderful, the people are great and very supportive. I really love how everyone came together in the midst of "our" small hacker crisis. Kudos to Pauli who I hope has gotten some much needed sleep.

I too have to comment on such a wonderful board! Everyone here seems so nice- you don't always find that on other boards.
