NEW YORK – This week, Jean Casarez continues our gavel-to-gavel coverage of Wisconsin v. Mark Jensen. Closing arguments took place Monday and now jurors are deliberating the fate of 48-year-old Jensen, accused of poisoning his wife, Julie, with ethylene glycol, the main ingredient in antifreeze. He faces life in a Wisconsin prison if convicted.

Mark Jensen’s murder trial is winding down.
We also have producers covering trials in Florida and Colorado, where Shawna Nelson, the wife of a sheriff’s investigator, is accused of first-degree murder in the killing of a fellow cop’s wife. Prosecutors say Nelson was angry when Ignacio Garraus ended their affair, and allegedly shot his wife, Heather. Both trials will air on In Session in the future.

Next week, correspondent Beth Karas returns to Canton, Ohio, for In Session’s coverage of the penalty phase in the case of former police officer Bobby Cutts Jr., convicted of double murder in the death of Jessie Davis and her unborn daughter.

Jurors will hear testimony from prosecution and defense witnesses and then decide if Cutts will be sentenced to death, or spend the rest of his life in prison.

It happens to all of us. Personally, I will try and answer questions if I have the answer. Mostly I read a lot of posts that I agree with, or just make me laugh, and try not to "noise it up" by just posting an ITA or LOL if I have nothing to add to it.

Where I work they are typically hired on as the bottom rung to a full fledge engineering position. They are working on obtaining a degree in the engineering field or their position does not require the amount of education as another engineering position would. We have 3 levels of eng here where I work. The mentality is pretty much across the board with of course the rare exception.

Job descriptions for engineer techs:

Engineering Technician
Performs tasks to assist engineers such as preliminary research, initial drawings or diagrams, design modification, or testing. Operates under direct supervision. Usually requires a 2 year degree plus 1-3 years relevant experience, or equivalent.

Engineering Technician - Senior
Performs tasks to assist engineers such as research, initial drawings or diagrams, design modification, or testing. Operates under general supervision and may provide technical assistance to lower level technicians. Usually requires a 2 year degree plus 3-4 years relevant experience, or equivalent.

key words, IMO: research, diagrams, modification

Can't be a verdict. Right.

The jury clock is still ticking, meaning no verdict.

Courtroom is filling up, though.

Yes, but. Ed Klug
1) had no motive to make this up unless you believe he is just an attention seeker!

2) is corroborated by his wife, Stacy Bauer, Dave Nehring, Quin Yorton and even Dawn Cooper.

I think you may be right about the divorce papers because Albee said in his CA that Julie was planning "a whole new life with this other person" (Perry) and that's why she filed for divorce. That's hogwash. I don't remember one shred of evidence to that.

The EK note might be a bad sign since Albee highlighted it in his CA. :0009:

There's the letter he wrote to his attorney (I think it was submitted as an exhibit). And that thing from the agent that Albee read from during his closing might be an exhibit though I am not sure - they fought about it outside the presence of the jury during Albee's CA and the judge allowed Albee to reference/read from it.
