I just have to say this, MJ made Julie FRANTIC by giving her nicotine! He knew she was unhappy and depressed, but he HAD to put her over the brink to get her to see a doctor----which would fair better to all the folks after she would be found dead! A set up for over drugging her! Blame it all on Julie! :1187603408.CR.Mothe

Brings me to worry, these jurors it has been stated, all have had a connection in some way or another with mental problems/depression etc, so lets all pray together that one of them or a few of them are not associating their experiences and ignoring the EVIDENCE in THIS case! THAT could be happening, especially if they are of the self-centered type person/s!

No, that would require attending meetings!

I did remove myself from being around any of them so I really didn't have to deal with that kind of sickness first hand. I have my own addictive personality traits to deal with. Obviously I have a hankerin to follow trials and study up on criminal behaviors, then there is a slight shoe shopping addiction and maybe a little situational sex addiction that sucks (or not) when I am alone.

Phew! I feel so much better after coming forward with my illnesses! How theraputic is this place???? :22wink:

Susan ______ worked with Jambois at the beginning of the case is talking to Jack Ford.

She said that Jambois was disturbed when he arrived at the Jensen home and found it was not being treated like a potential crime scene. He got it taped off. He thought that MJ was hinky early on b/c he had no probable cause for a search warrant so he asked for consent to search and asked to seize MJ's computer and MARK HESITATED.

She is giving an account of how the case sputtered along and how she and he would take the case with them to conferences and ask other prosecutors their opinions of the case as it stood-- was there enough to prosecute successfully?

Interesting.

Well good posters, I have to run out for awhile, be back Later! :022:

Hold the Fort! :)

We'll all hope TOGETHER!~

No, that would require attending meetings!

I did remove myself from being around any of them so I really didn't have to deal with that kind of sickness first hand. I have my own addictive personality traits to deal with. Obviously I have a hankerin to follow trials and study up on criminal behaviors, then there is a slight shoe shopping addiction and maybe a little situational sex addiction that sucks (or not) when I am alone.

Phew! I feel so much better after coming forward with my illnesses! How theraputic is this place???? :22wink:

I confess: I am a chocoholic.

Yes, this group is very theraputic. It feels so safe here (just like a meeting).

After Spector and Taylor, I am a believer in the 'stealth juror' phenomenon.

The more I see this happen, the more I start to consider the professional juror concept.

:022:

I don't think there is ANY doubt the phenomenon of stealth juror with a personal agenda is alive and well in our current judicial system. The higher the profile of the case, the more likely some freak will try and do some "social engineering" as that article stated. I don't know what the answer is but I don't see anything wrong with accepting an 11-1 or even a 10-2 vote in certain situations. I KNOW the defense industry will never go for that but it seems to me it's the only way to keep one moron from derailing a whole prosecution.

One more of my relax posts here - they've had weeks of testimony. 2 days, 3 days, a week, is not an abnormal time to deliberate. Imagine you are making a decision that may cost a man his life, for all practical purposes - you want to be quite sure you've overlooked nothing, that you've forgotten nothing, that there isn't some bit of testimony from week 1, that when you are reminded of it, will make you realize he's innocent! This is something you do not want to regret, so you take time to be sure. It's a very serious thing, to be a juror on a murder trial.

I think they're doing just fine.

Lots of places do have juries that do not need to be unanimous to come to a verdict. I think we could, but changing it would be difficult, and you know that innocent people, saved from conviction by one or two stubborn jurors, would be pulled out to speak against the change. And it'd be real - a change to make it easier to convict the guilty can indeed lead to a few more innocents accidentally convicted. That happens no matter what - we have to decide how many innocents per guilty we will take - there will always be some no matter what. The question is only, how many.

Well I'll let you in on a lil secret of mine. I might have a drink 1-3 times a month and have gone 6 months with not a drop. I just like to talk big about drinking! My father, ex-husband, his father and my brother are/were all alcoholics. That part of drinking is not so funny, I know.

My mom was an alcoholic, too. Died from liver failure just last May. And, I got to witness some pretty nasty withdrawals, too. One of the times it took her six weeks to even be able to walk again, then 3 weeks of inpatient treatment for alcoholism, but she remained sober for a few years after that. Then there were one or two more times.... the last time she was hallucinating for over ten days... saw the craziest things... but at some point she knew to ask ... was that real or a hallucination? Tremors so bad those first days she couldn't feed herself. Anyway...things nobody should ever have to see. The last time she ended up with liver cancer associated with alcoholic cirrhosis... we weren't even going to treat it, but she improved, was treated... and lived her last two years out. The liver never returned, she remained sober, but the liver finally gave out anyway. Whew! She literally 'almost died' at least five times....needing major transfusions, etc.

It is bad stuff... really. We just cut back again at home to only Fri and Sat nights, and I try to hold to a two drink limit. And we took two weeks off at the New Year.

Jambois not fighting to admit the calendar into evidence so he must not think it's all that important or he sees this is a fight he cannot win because it wasn't admitted to evidence during the trial.

a request from the jury
Julie's log/diaries/calendar
JJ's best friend's diary from Dr Spiro's testimony

They are discussing things. I am not clear what the items are.

Good Grief!

WTH?

They might as well order a box of hickory nuts for lunch, they are going to be in there FOREVER!

CRAP!

these new requests show someone just can't be convinced imo.

NOTHING in evidence is going to bring the PROOF they are looking for. They want it on video and it's just not.

Agree Kindee. That's all they are trying to do is to prove to one juror. They must be pulling their hair out. I swore after Spector's jury hung; I would never watch another trial; and look where we are now. Verging on another hung jury.

I don't believe they are going over this case JUST to be through. Votes have been taken by now; and they are split; likely 11-1

I agree. I was thinking that same thing. There is a man's freedom at stake, but I just hope they keep equal sight of Julie... who already lost her life. It made me realize they didn't really use a picture of Julie, did they? To remember the person that is gone?

But, I am more at ease today, that they are just dotting their i's and crossing their t's.... to review and consider all the evidence. There is a lot to go through.
