One thing I don't understand is how they never seem to want anyone to be "happy ever after". Jason finally acknowkedges that he's Jake's father and it seems that he & Elizabeth have a future and poof. Robin & Patrick break up, they kill off Emily, Sonny keeps talking the same ol shit about his business. How will Kate fit in with Carley (Le Bitch) always in the backgound?

It's a stupid ass show, very predictable...I like how they always have someone eavesdropping and hearing something they shouldn't.

OMGosh Roamer - I watched All My Children starting at age 12 when it was just 1/2 hour. My beloved Gram got me started, bless her heart. She loved/hated Erica Kane.

It then went to all of the others - did you ever see Ryan's Hope? And Luke/Laura's wedding was bigger than Princess Di's!!!!

I stopped though, in 2001. I had too much to do and Sonny Corinthos was starting to really get on my nerves.

Best actors/actresses in the world, in my opinion.

The building in Clear Springs collapsed & she (along with almost every other resident of Genoa City) was trapped in the rubble. All you other Y&R people out there - that's right, right? That's why she's in a coma? Heck, it has been dragging on so long, I'm not positive of what happened now! But that is when it happened - after the Clear Springs building collapse - and she was definitely trapped in there - and there was methane gas. :z0tdntknw:

They took the baby by c section and she is still in a coma. The hospital said there was nothing more they could do for her, and thought she should be moved to a "nursing home". Of course, Victor & Nikki wouldn't allow that, so they hired nurses to care for her at the ranch. Everyone else that was trapped is fine, she was the worst of it.

This is my very first post on this board so please be gentle. YES, I love soaps. ABC soaps. I used to watch all three but I am down to just GH now. It is the one and only I remain loyal to.

I hate Jason and Liz, hope that the Emily thing is Nickolas dream but I doubt that will happen, think it is disgusting they killled Georgie off. They can do away with Leyla. I love Jerry Jax, he is so disgustingly funny and evil at the same time. I always like Robin with Jason and have hoped he would end up as her baby's father but that ain't gonna happen. And yes, the show is all about Sonny.

They are going to send Luke to Hell and then to Heaven when he "dies" on the operating table. That should be good.

No real direction to the plots except for Jason to take everyone to the barn and demand they stay there and as soon as he left they hit the road. All except Liz who never does anything wrong.

Yes, I totally loved Night Shift. I don't know why it caught me up so but it did. The problem with NS though was that if people watched NS but not GH they did not know what was going on, same if they watched GH but not NS. One day all these new people were on the show that they did not know where they came from.

I am totally looking forward to Lukes trip to "H*ll". Tony Geary is still such a good actor, even after all these years.

I've been watching Y&R since it started in the late 70s,( so I do remember all those characters) also Day of Our Lives, and Guiding Light since before that, LOL even in high school and I'm age 64. I noticed Passions is not on anymore? Am I right, or is the time changed? I check in at AWTurns from time to time, too. LOL I remember when Lisa was a teenager!

Watched BandB for about 6 months and I thought it was stupid. It has crossovers with Y and R at times but that's all I know about the Forresters ect.

Passions is now on Direct TV only. I watch Days of Our Lives only.

Remember Lisa's mother? I liked that lady. My older sister used to laugh all time about how Nancy and Grandpa did nothing but sit in the kitchen and gossip. Then once Nancy made new curtains for her kitchen and we spent what seemed like months helping her with those curtains. I could have made them and had them on the rods in two days, tops.

Although I am very happy JT is that daddy and FINALLY seeing Brad look devestated, I thiink for storyline purposes it would have been better for Brad to be the father.

Brad holding all the cards and having power over the Newman's, (Victor).
Brad fighting and getting legal custody while Victoria in coma.
Brad turning to Sharon for help with baby which Nikki can't handle.

The storyline with JT would be much more boring. Victor wanted him to be the dad, so he's happy, Nikki likes JT so she's happy. Brad got his comuppance so JT and Newman's happy.

Brad can still fall into Sharon's arms for support.

Nooooooo!!! It can't go that way! I would be terribly upset if Brad is the father. I had thought about a twist like that, but with everyone thinking that Summer is really Jack's (Nick was the only one to actually SEE the results), I didn't think they'd do that with another child.

I hate to admit it, but I like Gloria. I don't care for the twin brother thing, though. I love Ted Shackelford, have since the Knots Landing days, and I am glad he's on, but I wish they just hadn't killed William off instead of bringing him back as a twin brother. I really like the Baldwin family, they add a lot of fun to the show!
