Victim Says O.J. "Robbery" Was Orchestrated

The man who allegedly had his memorabilia stolen at gunpoint by O.J. Simpson and friends has filed a lawsuit claiming the whole thing was pre-planned so the tape could be sold to ... well, us.

In a lawsuit filed today in Orange County Superior Court, Alfred Beardsley alleges he was lured to the now infamous Las Vegas hotel room meeting under false pretenses by Thomas Riccio. Beardsley claims Riccio made him believe he could sell the stuff to the owner of a large software company. According to the suit, at the same time, Riccio was lying to Simpson and fueling his anger.

I buy that. I think the people around Simpson are some sleazy characters.

Regardless, I still hope Simpson goes to jail for this one.

Seems to fit, but doesn't give OJ the license to go with some of his henchmen and take what he thought belonged to him.

A few years ago OJ and his entourage toured "South Street" in Philadelphia. I cannot tell you how many open-air fancy cars Simpson, his buds and bodyguards were in. A LOT! OJ was treated like a rock star and signed autographs galore. I was thoroughly disgusted by the sight of young teens yelling out, "You're our hero OJ. We know you're innocent!"

I agree with you Tam, that OJ hangs around with some pretty low characters. I sure hope he doesn't get away with THIS deal too.
