3-Year-Old Girl Arrives At Hospital Injured, Drunk

CINCINNATI -- A 3-year-old girl is recovering with relatives as police try to determine who’s responsible for getting her drunk and injuring the child.

“This is a very serious case; it's troubling,” said Kenton County Prosecutor Ken Easterling.

The girl, whose name was not released, was treated Feb. 22 for serious injuries at Children’s Hospital, where investigators also discovered her blood-alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit for adults.

The poor little thing. What do you bet the mother says she was trying to get her to fall asleep? Lucky she didn't die from alcohol poisoning with that much in her system. :mad:

I hope the person or persons responsible for abusing this child goes to prison for a very long time!! This child obviously has lived her 3 years of life being abused. God Bless her. I hope the relatives who have her now give her and her sibling love and attention. :1222423:
