More shootings now in Colorado Springs. 5-8 possibly shot. One gunman is down. A church was targeted. They don't think this is related to the first shooting this morning at the missionary. All churchs are on lock down. A car has been identified with an IED in it. This being reported by Fox. Appears to be planned killing as the shooters are wearing bullet proof vests.

They are now reporting there may be only one gunman. He is reported down. Not saying whether he has been killed or detained. This shooter was dressed in black; the same as the shooter at the missionary this morning. But, no confirmation yet.

Soupy said the Missionary School is within walking distance of her home.
I certainly hope they get this guy (s?) soon, before something else happens!
ETA: Just heard on the nightly news that the suspect in the second shooting is in custody. Still looking for the other, and no confirmation whether or not they're connected.

TV news says this morning that the shooter in the last incident is dead, and the shootings are related, but they're not saying if it's the same guy, or if there were two.

Colo. police search home after attacks
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Authorities searched a home in suburban Englewood early Monday, seeking any link between two deadly shooting sprees at Christian religious centers that left both communities stunned on a day of worship. . .
Police in Arvada said they believed the shootings — which occurred 12 hours and about 65 miles apart — were probably linked, though they had nothing conclusive to back up the theory.
"Given the circumstances, I think it is a good possibility that the two are linked," Arvada Deputy Police Chief Gary Creagor told The Associated Press early Monday. "But we have to prove that they are."
Early Monday, authorities were searching a home in suburban Englewood, about 15 miles south of Denver, that they said could be related to the Colorado Springs shooting. Authorities could be seen coming and going from the home, and at one point searching the bushes in front. . .

I was amazed that it was a woman security guard who arrived on the shooting scene and took this gunman out! An off duty cop said it was the bravest thing he had ever witnessed; she just stood there out in the open and ordered the kid to surrender and he kept firing. Then, she shot him. I think I heard her name as Mrs. Thumb, have to check that tho.......

Fox is now reporting (Tuesday) that the Colorado shooter died by his own weapon by self inflicting gunshot. The security guard that shot at him was not the cause of his death.
