Sorry that is where I started. Yesterday was actually nice over there. Then som one blew it trying to figure out which juror I am. Really that is hard for them to do since all the jurors did not go in front of the media. Sometimes there are questions I can answer and I don't mind those.

You know what..those same people will never support the victim in any crime..as they have an agenda that drives them to distrust all Law Enforcement and Prosecutors alike!..Even if there was a video of the accused doing the crime, with an audio description minute by minute..These same people would accuse the Videographer of " Staging" it !:000: So for me, I just take their verbage with a grain of salt!

It really got to me the other day when they went on & on about flooding Mr. Albees office with printouts of my posts. Yet they failed to read the posts where I had said I talked to Mr. Albee before I started posting. And then CW jumped into it. It was so silly on my end. Trust me anybody can call Mr. Albee or even the Judge, they know who I am. It really isn't that hard to dial a phone.

Her gastric contents contained Paxil, Librium, a half teaspoon of EG, and a small amount of potato and pepper. The Librium is Mark's med. The potato and pepper could have come back up from her intestines from throwing up uncontrollably. The count of Paxil was correct per instructions. They were samples and she had severel boxes-5 or 6

Just because the founding fathers didn't address evidence left behind by a murder victim that directly points to the murderer, doesn't mean that it makes it invalid. Lots of things have changed, things that they couldn't even imagine. Doesn't mean that Crawford got it right either. Heck, think about simple possessions as late as the 1900's...books, regular books were assigned heirs in last wills and testaments.

I think Judge Bruce did a fine job with Julie's letter, it was very apparent that he had given it a lot of thought and weight. I hope to be able to read his words in their entirety.

BUT, Wiggie's siggy line worries me: Dispensing with confrontation because testimony is obviously reliable is akin to dispensing with jury trial because a defendant is obviously guilty. -- Justice Scalia

Well how the heck is a person to know that, I only joined that place in Jan. and had a little under 500 posts. I was trying to be respectful but you all know how it goes there. All I said was I had ONE person on ignore and when someone guessed who it was .... "poof" - banned.

Little did I know that my work had only begun. Because of character restrictions on PMs, I had to trisect my response. I seriously doubt he read the last two portions, if even all of the first one. LOL.

But I felt better. Nothing has been quite that cathartic since the beginning of this whole mess.

Yep, that "Saint Julie" thing burned my butt!

He invited responses via PMs, so I spent most of that morning collecting my thoughts and then let him have it with both barrels!

Little did I know that my work had only begun. Because of character restrictions on PMs, I had to trisect my response. I seriously doubt he read the last two portions, if even all of the first one. LOL.

But I felt better. Nothing has been quite that cathartic since the beginning of this whole mess.

Boy I really don't have an answer. I was one of the original 38 selected. And then I had to go to the jury room and sit there with somemore possable jurors. As I was in the juryroom, I don't know what they were asking in the courtroom. I sat in the juryroom Jan.3 a half day and all day Jan.4 Then we were taken to the courtroom and Mr. Albee and Mr. Jambois each had to pick 10. and the rest were dismissed.

This is sad to say and maybe I am overboard, but what happens is that the Mark is innocent crew targets one poster at a time. NOT ALL the Mark is innocent posters, but a little bevy of them. They complain about every single post on such and such a day, until...just to SHUT them up, CW bans you, or puts you in time-out.

Next thing you know, after contacting the head honcho, she has erased all of the posts. You don't have a copy, so you can't even plead your case.

You only go around once in this life...take notes. I save everything, and then delete them the next day, IF I am still alive. At least I will NEVER be caught without proof again.

I am sorry that your particular experience in this instance doesnt help me to understand just how a jury is " Struck"..I would love to be a fly on the wall during jury selection..just to understand the mindset of both sides..I know they have jury consultants in some cases..and I think I would be someone intuitive to do that job...however, in Canada..things are so kept under-wraps..no one knows anything..and for sure the "Jury Pool" don't know NADDA..Media coverage is not allowed here..only report an incident, and advise..things like..Investigation in progress or under the "gag Order" nothing could be disclosed...So in one way, prospective jurors here don't get tainted one way or the other!

Thing is I really didn't post THAT often either. Mostly at night when things settled down and there was time to participate. Yes, well, so much for that. When I told hubby I got banned he of course thought that was the funniest thing he ever heard.

You've got that right Lynda.... in Canada we have no clue what is going on. Can you just imagine cameras in our courtrooms ? Never happen ! Maybe that's why we're addicted to what once was Courttv. Thank you. Yes, I'm sure it is interesting, although I haven't looked. The ratings are done by judges who met lawyers? So is a rating on judges first impression on meeting a lawyer? How would that help in finding the best attorney to fit your needs? Maybe its a listing of all attorneys admitted to the bar, in their respective states, and their area of practice. Because isn't it true that some of the listings say "there is no rating for this attorney"?
Or something like that. It must be kind of like the yellow pages, and the kind of ratings you see there. But thanks for the info.

This is one big reason that I never believed that Julie could have nor knew how to use the computer circa 1998..at the level of Mark..She simply would never have known how to search, download, file, or for that matter delete inner files ( temporary files)..Mark simply was in sole control of that computer and boy did he use it to his advantage! I hope that the youngsters do end up in contact with the Griffen Family..and in time and with councilling adjust and grow!..As Mark's behavior and attitude ( not to mention his parents) have really done damage to two young men preparing them for their futures!

Just so we are all on the same page as to what goes here..... We don't mind if you tend to go off topic, sometimes it's good to break the tension.

We have a lot of victim's family members that post here, so we don't want any victims or their families bashed. I think everyone can debate/discuss without doing that.

We try to not use added descriptive words to a person's name, that tends to lead to problems, posts deleted etc..

Everyone has a right to their opinion, whether some agree with it or not, as long as they are not insulting or rude to other posters. If someone is here for the sole purpose to cause problems, they will have access to this forum removed. We don't lock forums, it's not fair to the good posters who try to follow the guidelines to be punished because of a few.

If someone new comes on the board that you don't know.. please don't call them trolls, it could be someone that truly is new. Let them post in peace and if they start to cause a problem let us know and we will take care of

If you post an article, please provide a link.. If you post something that is just your opinion, not fact, please state so.. saves a lot of confusion when you do that.. and people always asking for a link to an opinion.

Please leave what happens on another board on that board.. we don't want to bash other boards here.
We want this to be an enjoyable place for both posters and those who read here.

It's wonderful that you created this board and stress the importance of not bashing victims, or their families. I wonder though, why is it ever okay to bash anyone? It seems that for days upon days, the overwhelming majority of posts have nothing whatsoever to do with the thread topic. Almost every single post is a slam against another human being, albeit.. someone who doesn't share your group mindset, but a human being nonetheless. Some of these posts could be considered fun, with no harm done. But a large portion of the posts just on the one thread I read, goes beyond harmless fun, and are personal, spiteful, and hateful attacks being made against people behind their backs. How do you justify coming on this discussion forum, to plan attacks on people who have done nothing more to you, than disagree?

And to this boards moderator: The initial impression one gets upon entering this forum, is that it was designed for a good purpose, in an effort to reach out to help find missing persons, or to support victims of crime. But look what it has become. Are you proud of what you have created, when you look at the Jensen forum? Do you really believe that the vicious attacks against posters on another board, as well as the board itself, is somehow a comfort or supportive in any way, to someone who may have believed this was a site reflective of its name and title?

Its a shame and shameful to see what kind of site this could have been, and what it actually turned out to be. I don't doubt this post will last any longer than the time it takes the moderator to delete it, but I do feel better having said it.

Excuse me... if you had a problem with what was being said you could have pm'd any one of the Moderators or have done a report post about your concerns. None of that has been done. To my knowledge everything was going smoothly in here. I do not have the time to spend reading every single post in every single forum.. that's why there is a report post feature. I spend the majority of my time doing things for the missing. Like creating a database that is searchable by state, name, children, adults, found and memorials.. why not take a minute and look before you condemn this whole board http://helpfindthemissing.org/missing_database doing the main website, http://helpfindthemissing.org along with being in contact with other organizations and working my real job 10 hours a day.

If you are going to judge a whole board by one forum you are very judgmental in your views. And to answer your question, YES, we are very proud of what we are doing. We are finding missing persons, supporting their families and giving them hope. If you are so narrow-minded that all you see is this one forum I am sorry. You are wrong, I will leave this post here, it won't be deleted. From the very first post you made a month or so back it was obvious that the only reason you came here was to cause problems. You are definitely proving that to be true.

Did you ever consider how it might feel to the person whose ridicule your poem is directed? Have any of you ever taken into consideration how hurtful you are when you post numerous insulting posts about specific people, behind their backs? Do you even care? Or did you think that those people would never be told about this board, and the slanderous content within it?
When I first posted on this board, I was told by its moderator that it was a fair and balanced board. When I first came back yesterday and saw that the vast majority of posts are out an out attacks on people who don't share the group mindset. I have to think either that moderator is no longer on this board, or that she simply doesn't care about the reputation of the board. Either way, I feel its a cruel disservice to anyone who comes to this site believing it is representative of its title and name, when it is nothing more than a place for a bunch of nasty people posting nasty posts.

actually, i give mr. wiggin way more credit than you do; i'm sure he would have no problem dealing with a trivial tongue-in-cheek jab at him. which, after all, he deserved-- in my opinion. he's the one who made unnecessary 'jabs' at a murdered woman's character--and she is not here to defend herself. so no, i have no qualms over "hurting his feelings" at all.

as for for the "regular" people who post here-- they are the most decent, caring, and respectful ppl i have EVER posted with.... we always treat each other with respect and never have problems here. yes, we have commented about certain posts by posters over there... as we never cease to be amazed by the sheer hatefulness exhibited toward victims, and posters who stand up for victims. the rudeness is rampant there--- what we have said here is due to the fact that we find some posters' behavior so incredulous with over the top nastiness. surely you see that, unless you are truly blind.

Didn't see it but heard about it. Quite a bit about it actually. I feel more sorry for an innocent man who spent 25 yrs. in prison. Doesn't seem right but yes the law is the law and sometimes it sucks. :confused:

I agree. MJ is locked up for good. I watched the senencing again. Am I the only one to notice that MJ was only emotional when David and Douglas were the subject? Aaron Dillard said the samething in his testimony. I see it as his emotions were because now he is locked up--no more control of the situation-- David and Douglas can go and search for the truth and MJ knows they will uncover probably more of his secrets.

I agree with you. I was trying to be nice. I really think something harsh should be done to them. Perhaps, the law should be changed so as to not put an atty. in this awful position. There must be a better solution. No I really don't want anyone harmed in any way. This is just so sad.

correct. It overwrote - changed access dates but no didn't 'add' anything per se.
Just turning your PC on overwrites info.

Darn good thing they didn't question my habits with deleting history, cookies etc. I do it constantly plus I run CCleaner, Spybot and ad-aware. Takes care of all those pesky little trojans and things you can pick up at any site.
