Depends on how many witnesses there are to come. I can't see this wrapping up this week for some reason.

Frankie thanks so much for the updates, I'd missed a few minutes around 3 yesterday and your synops on witness testimony helped me catch up with what the witness said.

I just don't see it unless defense has no witnesses to call. State could close, I guess, since they are moving through witnesses pretty quickly.

Amazing how quickly some can move through witnesses isn't it?
I'm thinking of Spector & Jensen where they kept them on the stand for days.

I think it's great how the attorneys don't do much whining and complaining. They really seem to respect each other, too.

Frankie, sorry about the arthritis, makes what you do for us even more special.
I hate it when I have to leave a trial, but knowing there are recaps in one place is so helpful. I enjoy reading the chit chat that goes on during a trial, but some nights one just wants to know what happened during the day's testimony.
A big thanks to BigKitty also.

I hope TruTV goes live with the Judge and lawyers at 9:15 Eastern this morning. I'm really interested to see why defense wanted Bambi to not be in the courtroom during Inmate Mullins testimony... Of course CNN player probably won't go live until 10 eastern...

"Board Breakdown" -- I couldn't have said it better, precisely.

I dunno what happened, but it seems to me (out of the loop as I am, of course) that "we" ought to be grateful for the pleasure of posting on these boards, SO grateful that we can get over in-fighting or whatever's going on--and get on with doing what we like.

Nothin's perfect.

But this board is darned close to it.

As always, I'm just happy we have it and I'm happy to be here.

So: Good Morning Peeps! Think we see Bambi today? :0012:

Mine either.
This morning I was trying to remember how it felt when I was a teenager and almost literally jumped out of bed in the morning, and hit the ground running.

Now I ease out of bed, listen to all the cracks from my various joints--and I don't hit the ground running. If I did I'd :faintTHUD:

:0012: Wow! Well I give you credit being a city girl and humpin through a full eight years! I just can't ever move back to the burbs or city life ever again. I love not having neighbors up my arse, calling the HOA on me or cops for that matter. I'm not loud and illegal, I just like the idea I could be if I wanted too!

Looking out my kitchen window, all I see is pasture, grazing horses, rolling hills with orange trees and ponds. Not one house.

The one rooster I have left is a complete turd. He was bestowed upon me as an Easter present last year. I hand raised him since he was a tiny chick, but he forgot all that and attacks and pecks me till I am bruised and bleeding. Totally ungrateful little basturd. I have a hard time even killin mice so I can't put him in a pot. I've just worked out a system where we can live on the same property and we don't have to come in contact with out chicken wire in between us.

I don't think that is the real reason why. Personalities intrigue me and I find it real interesting when in a group of colorful ones, eventually at some point, sparks will fly. Feelings get hurt. Someone feels their way is the better way and feel the need to give directions to others. The harmony breaks down. Either feeling left out or unrecognized a decision to either lash out, defend or pull away happens. Can't help it, human nature. It is a situation that no one person can control!

I still think this place rocks and I am not going anywhere unless this turns into another IS situation.

I do too. PBS had a program a few days ago about Johnny's life. His son talked about his father, his love for June, music etc. I had tears many times while watching it.

Johnny Cash preformed a live concert at Folsom State Prison. it was a huge hit for him. i believe one of the songs titles was IIRC "Folsom Blues" where he signs about being in Folsom Prison himself. the truth though is he was never an inmate at Folsom. he did IIRC do some county time here in CA for minor drug charges.

just a little tid-bid.

They also have Mr. Parker's blood on RG's shoes.

His discussing what he'd do to the Parkers a few days before the murders
and his taking at least 2 hours to make it back to the shop after being told the Parkers had been killed. (those don't make him a murderer but compiled with this witness testimony saying RG said he did it, and also how the bodies were positioned, where they were shot and how many shots to each victim, it is good circumstantial) And he also told another person all about the victims positions, wounds etc before his arrest too. ( LE never told anyone about it) And he said LE had told him.

I feel he did it. Not 100% guilty yet but have strong feelings that he did kill the Parkers.
