That's my favorite part of the show. The awful auditions. And the funniest are the people who get mad at the judges because they really think they can sing, and can't carry a tune in a bucket.

Reminding me to keep a lot of DVD's on the shelf, so I don't have to watch that silly stuff.

I don't want to know how sausage is made, nor how American Idols are made.

LOL. Mine too. I know if one of my family/friends who were tone deaf, insisted on trying out for the show, I think I would videotape it first to show them how bad they really sound. Not wait and have them become so embarrassed.

Look at some of those who didn't carry a tune. Some are now making commercials, so I guess that crosses out my previous paragraph. Either way they may become famous.

I do hope this season Paula looks/sounds better. She really looked like she needed some hefty intervention, I almost felt embarrassed for her. Randy is just Randy, but Simon Cowell, now, he is the one to watch out for, never know what's gonna come out of his mouth, huh. :girl_haha:

I totally agree - that is by far the best part of the show. Can't wait!

My cousins wife was going audition last year. But my cousin had to work and couldn't take the time off to have the kids so she was unable to tryout.
She has a good voice but lacks confidence and Simon would tear her apart since she doesn't wear make-up, nice in style and isn't small.

I love the try-outs. They crack me up. I don't like the middle part were they group up and cut people. And until the last 4 is sort of boring for me... well actually I just get frustrated with the stupid voting.

I have a hard time sitting through those humiliating first few shows. I'm usually shaking my head saying "What was she thinking?". And I hate watching a whole room full of people get eliminated. I always think that the REAL idol may be in one of those groups.

I can't wait...the auditions are hilarious! I can't wait to hear from Simon, see if Paula is still acting goofy and find out if Randy will still be calling everyone dawg.
