I can't find any new links but on the news this morning they said that they do want FL women shoppers to be very alert and that it does appear this is the work of a serial killer. So sad he killed a mother and her daughter. Why the child?
Nancy Bochicchio was enjoying each day with her daughter and right before christmas were found shot. Apparently the killer took her to withdraw money with her ATM card.

"I was called out to investigate two people that were found in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Town Center Mall," said Detective Jeff Clare of the Boca Raton Police Department. "It was quite shocking once we got there."
Inside their black Chrysler Aspen, Nancy and Joey were tied up, dark goggles covering their eyes, shot to death."
America's Most Wanted backs up the serial killer theory too.

I hope they catch this killer sooner than later! How scary. Maybe this killer will pick the wrong person next time and that person will have protection and use it.
Scary when you cannot even feel safe to go to the mall and shop. These sub-humans out there that want something for nothing and will do anything to get what they want/need.

Interesting blog which goes into detail about the actions of this guy when he tied up another victim. Supposedly when he drove her and her child around he took a wrong turn and seemed disgusted asking her for toll money. Then took her back to the parking lot and she noticed he made eye contact with someone in another vehicle -- maybe a partner? He let her call her husband to pick her up. So sad he did not do that for the other victims.

Hopes were up after police released a video of the man who stalked and killed a woman and her child. They had a person of interest but a surviving victim said he was not the man. Picture and video here. http://www.nbc6.net/headlinesonly/16213555/detail.html

EXCERPT
The murders, held up beside the Aug. 7 attack and the March 23, 2007, slaying of Randi Gorenberg, 52, who was shot and killed in a park west of Delray Beach after shopping at Town Center, led some observers to speculate a serial killer was preying on women at the mall.
The three crimes also prompted Boca Raton police to join with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office to form an investigative task force in January.
Boca Raton officials offered an unprecedented $350,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killer.
Family members of Gorenberg, the Bochicchios and the Aug. 7 victim all have sued the Town Center mall and its corporate parent, Simon Property Group, alleging negligence.
Task force detectives said they suspect Bodek was the man pictured in the video released Thursday, although Bodek wouldn't confirm as much. He was turned over Friday to a Miami-Dade County jail.
The tip that led police to Aventura was one of more than 850 received since the slayings.
Anyone with information about the killings can call Boca Raton police at (561) 368-6201 or Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at (800) 458-TIPS (8477).

December 12, 2007-The Bochicchio Case story here with videos. http://www.myspace.com/brpsd
Shortly before midnight on December 12, 2007, a security guard at the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton, FL. noticed a black 2007 Chrysler Aspen with the engine running, parked in the lot on the south side of the Sears department store. He called the Boca Raton Police Services Communications Center on a non-emergency line and asked for an officer to check it out. Officers found Nancy Bochicchio (47 years of age) and her daughter, Joey Bochicchio-Hauser (7 years of age), in an SUV bound and shot.

SNIPPED............
The murders, held up beside the Aug. 7 attack and the March 23, 2007, slaying of Randi Gorenberg, 52, who was shot and killed in a park west of Delray Beach after shopping at Town Center, led some observers to speculate a serial killer was preying on women at the mall.
Police: Husband was likely target in Boca slaying
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- The unknown gunman who killed a chiropractor's wife as she returned from a trip to an upscale mall was likely targeting the woman's husband because he frequented prostitutes in crime-ridden neighborhoods, authorities said Friday.
Randi Gorenberg, 52, was driving a pricey Mercedes SUV in March 2007 when she was shot in the head and pushed from the car after a shopping trip to the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton, Palm Beach Sheriff's Sgt. William Springer said at a news conference.
Gorenberg's husband, Stewart Gorenberg, typically drove the Mercedes, including on his twice-weekly trips to "escorts" in neighboring Broward County, and he put himself at high risk for a robbery and a homicide, Springer said.
"A high-end car would stick out in these crime-ridden neighborhoods," Springer said Friday. He added that the attacker also probably knew that Stewart Gorenberg, a Fort Lauderdale chiropractor who lived in a $2.2 million home in Boca Raton, was wealthy.
Gorenberg's attorney countered that his client was never involved with any prostitutes and the allegations are "totally false."
"It is unconscionable that PBSO detectives are treating a victim this way. Unfortunately, detectives have no leads and their statement is a desperate and misguided attempt to create a lead," attorney attorney Guy Fronstin said.
Randi Gorenberg was driving the Mercedes because the couple's other vehicle was leased and they switched cars to keep the leased vehicle's mileage down. Surveillance video shows her leaving the mall, about a half hour before she was shot in the head and pushed from the SUV in a nearby park.
The Mercedes was found a few minutes later abandoned behind a Home Depot. Her purse, cell phone and black and white Puma shoes were missing. Her credit cards were used as recently as August by two unidentified men in Connecticut and Massachusetts, authorities said. No suspects have been arrested.
Palm Beach sheriff's officials said they have identified two prostitutes who were regularly visited by Stewart Gorenberg, and they are seeking the public's assistance in identifying additional escorts and leads in the murder case.
Stewart Gorenberg went by the name "Mike" when he visited the women, Springer said. Gorenberg found one of the women in an online ad and typically paid $100 to $150 per visit. He had been seeing one of the women in Deerfield Beach on and off on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons since 2001 or 2002.
Springer said authorities also looked into Randi Gorenberg's lifestyle and past and found that she was not at high risk for a homicide or robbery.
"Randi is an unfortunate victim of this crime," Springer said. "Randi happened to be driving the Mercedes Benz that day."
Springer said they have approached Stewart Gorenberg with information about the escorts and he had "no response" and is not cooperating with the investigation.
Authorities also said they have not ruled a possible connection between Randi Gorenberg's murder and the December 2007 killings of 47-year-old Nancy Bochicchio and her 7-year-old daughter Joey, whose bodies were discovered in their car outside the Town Center Mall.

Thanks Nutt for posting that article.
I just don't get the connection. They are saying because the husband used prostitutes that someone was out to get him and spotted the car at the mall and therefore shot his wife?
Oh geesh, they had to steal the shoes from her body, too.

I don't get the connection either. They do have to consider any angles but I hope they keep in mind that these attacks could be random opportunities too.

Police Seek Leads in 2007 Mall Murders
BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Authorities continue to investigate the 2007 unsolved killings of a mother and daughter at a South Florida mall.
Boca Raton police said Monday they need the public's help establishing the origin and manufacturer of a pair of yellow-framed goggles found inside the victims' vehicle. They have a hinged bridge across the nose and removable black lenses.
Police say they have investigated more than 1,900 leads. A $350,000 reward is offered for information leading to the suspect's arrest.
Nancy Bochicchio and her 7-year-old daughter were shot to death in their black SUV in December 2007. Their bodies were found in their vehicle in the parking lot of the Town Center mall in Boca Raton. Both were bound and shot in the head. Their eyes were covered with the goggles.

If they had said that Nancy Bochicchio's husband visited prostitutes also, I could see a connection. It makes me wonder if they have no idea who committed the murders, therefore let's put the spotlight on the husband because of his prostitute visits.

The goggles have a yellow plastic frame, with a hinged bridge across the nose. The lenses are removable and black in color. On the inside, a black foam cushion lines the goggles except on the two outside areas, where there are vents to let air inside to keep them from fogging up. The headband is elastic and black in color.

I agree. I have searched online for about 2 hours or so since I have seen this and I haven't found anything like them. That's why I wanted the pictures of the front so I was glad to find them. I'm going to search further ~ although I'm sure Boca PD has already done it themselves.

I have found more that are similar since I could see what the front looked like. I'm definitely thinking the yellow ones could possibly be an older model. Manufactures make slight changes to products all the time. Also, an owner can change the straps as well.
Well anyway...here are a few more that I have found. I sure hope the pictures are HUGE! If they are, sorry bout that!

I have found a few more. The above ones may not match exactly to the one left in the vehicle, but what they are looking for is the manufacturer. Possibly one of these are the same manufacturer. Then again, as I said, Boca PD has probably already done this anyway.

The last ones you found look more similar as far as the lenses go. They may be an older model. I guess asking the public to take a look might trigger someone's memory that a person they know may have had a pair like those.
Hope something comes of this case because it was horrific and to kill a child.
Thanks, PI, for searching for more views.

Men using Gorenberg's credit card provide clue in stalled Boca Raton mall murder case
By CHRISTINA DeNARDO
Palm Beach Post Staff Writer
Friday, September 26, 2008
Seventeen months after she was murdered, two men used Randi Gorenberg's credit card number to go on a shopping spree, buying PlayStations at malls in the Northeast, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
It was the first time anyone used her credit card number since she was murdered in March of 2007.
The suspects bought Playstation game systems and food in August in Holyoke, Mass., and Newington, Conn.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office on Friday released photos of the men accused of using the slain Boca Raton wife and mother's credit card in Massachusetts and Connecticut. One of the men wore blue jeans and a black T-shirt. The other wore jeans and a multi-colored shirt with a black ball cap.
What they don't know is who the men are, or whether they had Gorenberg's card or had stolen clone of it, officials said.
Gorenberg, 52, was shot in the head and shoved from her Mercedes-Benz sports utility vehicle in Delray Beach. Her Kooba purse and Puma sneakers have never been found. The murder happened about 40 minutes after she finished shopping at the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton.
The sheriff's department said the men purchased two portable Playstation hand held game systems from a Sears at the Holyoke Mall, Holyoke, Mass., north of Springfield on Aug. 12. The men also purchased food in Springfield and a Playstation 3 from a Toys R Us in Newington, Conn.
"We receive tips all the time that just don't pan out, but this is something we really need the public's assistance with," said Teri Barbera, the sheriff's office spokeswoman.
The sheriff's office is also pushing the media in Connecticut and Massachusetts to publish the pictures in hopes of finding the men. America's Most Wanted, which has aired episodes on the Gorenberg murder, plans to update its Web site to include the new information.
"We would like to speak with these individuals," Barbera said. "We have no idea if there is any involvement in the murder, but it's something we like to follow through with and we need the public assistance to do that."
Though law enforcement officers do not know if the men were involved in Gorenberg's murder or if they were using her credit card or a clone, the use of Gorenberg's credit card number is the first lead in the cold case in several months. Clones are fake credit cards made when someone steals the numbers using a hand-held skimmer after a card is swiped, while the original stays with its owner.

Excerpt
The woman who was abducted with her child but not killed said She remembers pulling into the Nordstrom parking garage at Town Center and noticing a brand-new silver Chevrolet Suburban parked in the space beside her.
Later, after the gunman had forced her to a nearby ATM, taken the wheel of her black 2007 Lincoln Navigator and driven up and down Florida's Turnpike, apparently by mistake, the woman would see the same Suburban again, idling in a remote corner of the Town Center parking lot near Sears.
