From the article:
Drew Peterson's site says he wants to collect money from people who believe he deserves a defense without going broke.
"For the cost of a few cups of your morning coffee, you can help to ensure that Drew can afford to support his ongoing legal defense, find his missing wife, and divert any remaining funds into a trust for his children," the site says.
Give me a break. How nervy.

think its funny (not ha ha) how first the money is to be used for defense then any remaining funds will be used to find Stacy.
Why not find Stacy first. Lord knows "if" she is alive and hiding then he won't need to "defend" himself.

I find this FAQ list appauling:nonono: The nerve to be asking for donations for his defense fund???I did not realize the Mr. Drew was arrested yet? and given he states that Stacy IS ALIVE and well with another guy..I see this plea for money nothing less than shameful and could boarder on fraudulent!
Most of common sensical peeps know full well just where these $$$$ would go? and doubt IF the Children would see a red dime. Was this idea JB's or DP's?? either way, what a mockery:puke:

I really hate to say this, but we all know there are a bunch of women out there that will jump on his bandwagon the same as they did for Scott Peterson. That's what they are probably relying on to get money. He thinks he is a ladies man after all.

I understand Tuesday night that he had closed his website, and his lawyer
didn't think like the idea of it open. Some where laughing about it on Prime Time.
The money he got from his third wife death, must have bought his house, boat and plane. Cop's don't make that kind of money he was spending. :duh:

I hope it stays disabled. I'd imagine someone got wind of this and it's tackiness and had it taken down. I'd say this site just shows how Drew Peterson is thinking about his impending arrest, he knows his wife is not alive as his 3rd wife. This just made me think he is guilty more than ever.

Tonight the media had his lawyer on again, saying the web site is down, BUT they had got enough money, to defend himself from the attacks of the ones trying to bring him down.
He appreciated all of the people believed in him. Wonder how much he got? Couldn't have many hits, so he gave up it. jmo

I don't live far from him either.. Geraldo was great tonight as they caught him brushing off his car and leaving the house. He didn't want to talk to Geraldo or his brother. He is very particular who he spews his bull to. I just feel the walls are closing in on him and the sooner the better.

Well after all he is trying to raise four children. That alone is expensive to just clothe and feed them. Bless his heart SP just up and ran off with her bikini and left him with all that responsiblity. He has been right there day and night for those children's well being a devoted father, having to deal with all the add pressures of the press and LE. Plus all these unexpected legal expenses. The pain and suffering he has been through with reporters on his door steps and cameras lined up across the street. And now possibly having to make a movie deal. And having the LE invade his privacy with search warrents. Surely this man feels like society should owe him something.

Yah, society is paying him about $6000. a month for retirement including benefits. Drew earned that running around harassing old girlfriends and ex-wives on company time. He's got a hard life. Poor Drew is such a ladies man that sick women are writing him notes and asking him out. Maybe one of his many friends should have a fund raiser for the poor guy.

Hopefully when they investigate and arrest him, they find he did the murders while he was still in LE and LOOSE THAT PENSION!
Since they have since recovered a body, which is now pointing to be Stacey, he won't need a dime, since he will be staying via ala incarcerated, hopefully with no bail.
