100 Missing Kids

This is very upsetting. 100 Kids missing, most are in March 2008, there are 4 from April 08 and two have been found, the Blackwell brothers. I searched for a few of the kids to see what I could find and nothing showed up. What is going on with all these kids missing?

I started just going down the rows checking to see who was still missing. I checked 13 rows, I know, bad luck. 21 were still listed with a poster. 45 no longer had posters. I didn't know whether to list the names of the ones still there? No use in someone checking the others. Then again, I don't want someone saying, yes they did still have a poster. The reason the total is 66, I think I checked someone on down the line, too. Or should I do anything? Most are Florida, but Va,MD, IL etc in there too. I thought about listing the Florida ones together for someone in that area? Whatever.

I did same nanabillie and looked at about 16 / 17 and no file found on any I checked. Do you suppose most of these teens were run away kids that eventually turned up?

I know some kids are in terrible abusive situations at home and run away. Those are the teens I really worry about because they are suffering so at the hands of their parents/care takers.

I know, that's sad. I've also heard that places like FL (close to the water where there is a lot of people going in and out of the country) are often areas where it is easier to get teens out of the country and they can be victims of human trafficking. I think that's a possibility. And that is sad. IMO

This thread reminded me, when you're looking to see if a person is still missing, always check NCMEC, and it's always a good idea to check state by state. Example: Florida Missing Children; NC Missing Children, etc.

If nothing is found, they're probably home safe, so if you'll let one of the Mods know, we can move the thread.
