We'll keep you posted Kindee. Judge is just giving the jury some instructions. What direct evidence is; what circumstantial evidence is; how to evaluate witnesses; use your own common sense; maintain an open mind, no talking to each other, the verdict must be unanimous.
Note books are going to be given to the jurors and will be collected each night.
The Prosecutor is going to begin his opening statements right now.

His co-defendant, Alexander Letkemann, 18, of Westland, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder last week.
Letkemann faces 20 to 30 years in prison at his April 23 sentencing in Wayne County Circuit Court. He also pleaded guilty to disinterment and mutilation of a dead body, which carries up to a 10-year sentence.

I'm in MI too. There was a case a few years ago in Sparta where a teen killed another teen and beheaded him. He kept the head for several days in a sack in his room. He was making videos of himself with the head. Finally...he showed some peeps the head and they ratted him out.

According to the Wayne County prosecutor, Kim Worthy, Jean Pierre Orlewicz 17 and Alexander James Letkemann 18 were charged with murder and mutilation of a dead body.
Neither money nor drugs was thought to be the motive behind this grisly murder. It is thought that the killing is what is known as a "thrill killing".
Daniel Sorensen(26) was lured to Orlewicz's grandfather's house on November 7th. Allegedly Orlewicz attacked him from behind slitting his throat. Daniel Sorensen also had several stab wounds to the back.
Sorensen's head was then sawed off and put into a Rubbermaid container. Later to be tossed into a river.
The body of Daniel Sorensen was then taken to a wooded area and a blowtorch was used to burn his hands and feet. Presumably this was done to hide the identity of the body.
Prosecutor Kym Worthy said the murder of Daniel Sorensen was well planned, well thought out and methodical. The garage floor had been covered where the murder took place. There were also cleaning materials on hand.
There may be 3 other persons of interest in the murder of Daniel Sorensen, but it is not clear if any more arrests will be made at this time.
Daniel Sorensen was a registered sex offender in both Illinois and Michigan. When his murder was first discovered, it was thought that this might be a motive for his murder. It now appears that his death was not linked to being a sex offender, but rather "thrill killing".

As plausible as finding a dead girl during a robbery, ACCIDENTLY EJACULATING and stealing her secret santa present.....
but murder?
