I watched it too....again. I watch it every time it is on.
I do agree with you, lol...that accent was strange.

Elizabeth R's accent in that was horrible.....It was very overacted. Im not even from Texas and have never been, but Im sure they were ticked about that. I had to kind of grin and bear the accent in order to watch what the movie was truly about AMBER and the Amber Alert system.
