Your husband is a good man! Tell him we said THANK YOU for his service. My father enlisted for VietNam and left on his 18th birthday. To this day he refuses to open up about his experience. I feel for you and appreciate the sacrifices you have had to make as well.

I know how you feel. My hubby is supposed to come back in March and go to another place for six months. and then return to afganistan for 8 more mos.:confused: I wont see him for 2 years. ugg. I cant wait until he retires.

Mine was a genius and signed up for 8 years. He's on 2 and half right now. :thud2:

This one he's on now was volunteer. When he gets back (early) he'll be going with his home unit.

I'm sorry, Boxer. I'm glad he's going to be here for the baby's birth!!

My husband has practically lived there since the before the war started. He is looking at switching over to Afghanistan sometime next year.... It is just one of those things, I guess.

I know it is tough on all of y'all with family over there. God Speed to all of our loved ones in the desert....
