Badly burned body was found in new development; tip led to crime scene in E. Baltimore
11:24 AM EDT, April 18, 2008
An unidentified man who was found dead Sunday in a new townhouse development near Middlesex Elementary School in eastern Baltimore County was killed in East Baltimore, city police said this morning.
The body had been badly burned, but the state medical examiner's office has ruled that the cause of death was blunt force trauma, according to Officer Troy Harris, a city police spokesman. Harris said detectives have determined that the man was killed in the 600 block of N. Clinton St. near an industrial park.
Bill Toohey, a Baltimore County police spokesman, said a tip received by a county officer led to the city crime scene.
Baltimore County authorities have released a sketch of the victim in hopes somebody can identify him. He is described as 5 feet 8 inches, weighing about 180 pounds and missing some teeth.
A man walking his dog near Davison and Langley roads in the Miramar Landing townhouse community found the body early Sunday.

Wow Roamer...they sure do look alike! MMmmmmmm.....Baltimore is only 105 miles from Philly.....mmmmmm......
James suffers from dementia ...what if, in 2006 he got on the train, ended up in the wrong City and just mingled in with other street/homeless persons all this time. It really isn't impossible for the man above to be James.

Interesting Roamer. One glaring difference is the weight of the two. Other than that there is some strong resemblences though.

The guy who was missing was last seen in January, 2006, Grande. Plenty of time to lose weight. :0009:

More Learned In Burned Body Case
Sunday, April 20, 2008
WBAL Radio as reported by Leonard Roberts, The (Baltimore) Sun, WBAL-TV 11 and Associated Press
Court documents are revealing additional information used by police and prosecutors in making a case that a southeast Baltimore couple is responsible for the death of a man whose burned body was found in a townhouse community in Middle River last weekend.
58-year-old Edward Palmer and his 46-year-old wife, Catherine Palmer, have both been charged with first-degree murder. The Palmers live in the 600 block of North Clinton Street in the City.
Autopsy results indicate the cause of the man's death was blunt force trauma, and authorities say that trauma most likely was by stabbing.
The man is believed to have been the landlord of the Palmers' home, but he has not yet been officially identified, and indeed police were still seeking information on his identity late Saturday.
TCourt documents cited by The (Baltimore) Sun and WBAL-TV 11 News say Catherine Palmer told detectives that her husband and the dead man were drinking in the couple's home Friday, and the men argued. Catherine Palmer said that the next morning, Edward Palmer told her that he had killed the man in self-defense.
The TV 11 News account goes on to quote the charging documents as saying Catherine Palmer told investigators that the man's body was wrapped in sheets and was loaded in a car and driven to an abandoned lot in Middle River. It is there that investigators think gasoline was poured on the body and it was set afire. The lot is part of a construction site of a townhouse neighborhood where last Sunday a neighbor walking a dog discovered the burned remains.
A spokesman for Baltimore County police said a tip led to the crime scene in the city where the landlord was allegedly killed. The court documents quoted by the Baltimore television station say that the Palmers called a man hours after the killing and asked for help in disposing of a body. The man refused to help and later called police.
Edward and Catherine Palmer are both being held without bond.
