Pascagoula Police Search For Missing Teen

PASCAGOULA (WLOX) -- Pascagoula Police are looking for a 16-year-old girl who's been missing since Friday evening.

Brianna Lawler was last seen in her front yard, located at 1812 Prospect. She was wearing a brown and gold jacket, tan and gold striped shirt and blue jeans.

Brianna is 5'6" tall, 142 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Pascagoula Police say Brianna has runaway before and is on probation through the Jackson County Youth Court.

This may be a report about a previous incidence of Brianna missing, dates don't match but it mentions she has friends in a particular area. Hope they are checking there again.

Brianna Marie Nicole Lawler has been missing since Oct. 8. She was last seen in the area of Jackson Street in Moss Point.

Lawler has friends in Pascagoula and Gautier.

Her family originally filed a missing person report with Jackson County Youth Court, which turned the case over to the Pascagoula Police Department.

The case has been investigated since that time and authorities learned Friday that Lawler was possibly in this area, Lt. Paul Leonard said

Hi Breezy, I look for an update on WLOX to see if there is anything new and it's not. LAST UPDATE was the 22nd. I used to live in Pascagoula and I often think how much effort LE puts into runaways.

I see Packy, that obviously was the first time she ran away. So sad, if she only knew what it does to her loved ones. I know what it does to me and I'm a stranger. So sad.

The detective just called me back. Brianna did run away, she was located and found last week and is in good health.
