Alzheimer's Man Missing in Silver Spring

A Silver Spring man suffering from Alzheimer's has been missing since Thursday and police are asking for the public's help.
Troy Cook was last seen Thursday, just before 2:00 p.m. at his home in Silver Spring. Mr. Cook is described as a white male, age 67, 5'5" tall, with a thin build. He has black hair, and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue and white shirt and jeans. He is non-verbal and unable to communicate. He has not been away from home by himself in a very long time. There is a possibility that he may have taken public transportation from a bus stop near his residence.
Detectives have inquired with both MetroBus and Ride-On bus but have had no luck finding Mr. Cook.
Anyone who has any information about Mr. Cook's possible whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
