Wonder why it took so long for this to hit the news?

Thank you for reporting this missing case as soon as you could. Did the sheriff have a reason for the delay in asking for public info?

I'm thinking she just can't say.

Thanks KM, I get aggravated when I can't find info. I think there is more to this story than we know.

Me too.
I recently emailed Karen Holmes @ KHOLMES@ncmec.org and asked about recovered/restricted .....Here is her reply>>
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Recovered does not specify living or dead, so you could call us
and we could tell you that. Restricted means, police - for whatever
reason we do not know at the time - removed the child from their police
computer. So we have to restrict media during that time, UNTIL we find
out officially why - if the child is truly still missing or recovered.
You can 'technically' look at Restricted as still missing.
I was just coming over to see if there were any updates on Adrian Wayne Pierce. The word has been recovered bothers me. I have expressed that before because the word can mean alive or deceased. In this case, I take it he was either found alive or returned home.
