Mentor police ask for help in search for missing man

MENTOR -- Police are on the lookout for a missing man, who may be in need of medication.
Authorities say Bryce Underwood, 56, took off on foot between 10:30am and 12:30pm Saturday.

Underwood's wife says she has not seen him since, and she's becoming concerned about his well-being.

Underwood is described as 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with graying hair and a goatee.

He was last seen wearing jeans, a denim jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, and a tan hat with a Rock Hall logo.

If you have any information on Underwood's whereabouts, call Mentor police.

Missing Man Back Home

MENTOR, Ohio -- A missing man is back home safe.

Bryce Underwood, 56, was reported missing by his wife over the weekend. He had been experiencing bouts of depression.

After police got reports of a man fitting the description, he returned home.

Police said he walked to Huntsberg where he stopped to eat a sandwich and slept outside. On Sunday, he walked to Clariton and hitchhiked home.

He said he remains depressed and was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
