Police seek information on missing woman

HURRICANE -- Police are seeking information on a 49-year-old Hurricane woman missing since Wednesday. Pamela L. Jensen was last seen about 8 a.m., April 30 in St. George.

Jensen hasn’t been to work since Tuesday, and did not show up for a scheduled doctor appointment. She is bipolar and requires prescription medications, but did not take medication with her when she left home.

Jensen is 5 feet tall, weighs about 150 pounds, and has brown hair and gray eyes. She has a tattoo of a small frog on one shoulder. She may be driving a purple 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt with Utah plate 892 UWD, and a small white cowboy hat hanging from the rear-view mirror.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Hurricane Police Department at 635-4541.

UPDATE: Hurricane woman missing

ST. GEORGE -- A 49-year-old Hurricane woman is missing and police are seeking information on her whereabouts.

Pamela L. Jensen was last seen about 8 a.m. Wednesday in St. George, according to a press release from the Hurricane Police Department.

Jensen hasn’t been to work since Tuesday and didn’t show up for a scheduled doctor appointment. She is bipolar and requires prescription medications but didn’t take medication with her when she left home, the release said.

Jensen is 5 feet tall, about 150 pounds and has brown hair and gray eyes. She has a tattoo of a small frog on one shoulder.

She may be driving a purple 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt with Utah plate 892 UWD, and a small white cowboy hat hanging from the rear-view mirror, the release said.

Ken Perkins, public information officer for the Hurricane Police Department, said at 10:15 a.m. today that Jensen is still missing and hasn’t turned up.

“Her bank accounts are being monitored for any sign of activity,” he said, but at this point, “there hasn’t been activity on her bank account.

“She hasn’t surfaced anywhere."

Hurricane police are asking for the public's help to find a missing 49-year-old woman.
An endangered person advisory was issued Thursday for Pamela Jensen, after she failed to report to work for several days and missed a scheduled doctor's appointment, said Ken Perkins, a Hurricane Police Department spokesman.
The woman is bipolar and apparently didn't take medication with her when she left home, Perkins said. Her family believes she may be in the Las Vegas area.
Jensen is described as 5 feet tall and about 150 pounds. She has brown hair and gray eyes and may be driving a purple 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt.
Information on Jensen's whereabouts should be reported to the Hurricane Police Department at 435-635-4541. -Melinda Rogers

Missing Hurricane woman calls family, says she's OK

HURRICANE — A woman reported missing has contacted family members.
The Hurricane Police Department said in a statement that Pamela Jensen, 49, called a relative on Monday.

"The family member who spoke with police said Jensen indicated that she is safe, in good condition, and has been staying in the Las Vegas area," police spokesman Ken Perkins said.

Jensen was last seen April 30 in St. George. She was reported missing the next day. An endangered person advisory was issued last week for Jensen
