ZPD searching for missing woman

ZANESVILLE — The Zanesville Police Department is searching for a missing 58-year-old woman.

Diana Runkle was last seen Wednesday outside of or getting off a bus at the Alfred S. Carr Center, according to Detective Sgt. Ric Roush of the Zanesville Police Department.

Runkle’s daughter, Jennifer Bare, filed the report this morning after receiving phone calls from both the manager of the Mapleview & Colony Terrace Apartments where her mother lives and from a care giver at the Carr Center, where Runkle visits every Friday.
Runkle is 5’2,” 220 pounds and has graying brown hair. What she was wearing when she disappeared is not known.

Roush said the case has been assigned to a detective and officers are searching the area.

Diana Runkle was last seen Wednesday outside of or getting off a bus at the Alfred S. Carr Center, according to Detective Sgt. Ric Roush of the Zanesville Police Department.

Runkle’s daughter, Jennifer Bare, filed the report this morning after receiving phone calls from both the manager of the Mapleview & Colony Terrace Apartments where her mother lives and from a care giver at the Carr Center, where Runkle visits every Friday.

Bare said her mother has now been found.
