Gwinnett police have issued a child abduction bulletin, or Levi's Call, for a 14-month-old boy believed to have been abducted by his teenaged mother, who is not his legal guardian.
The grandmother of Bryan Christopher Harvin contacted police around 8:35 a.m. Wednesday to report that her daughter, Laraeye Chantell Harvin, had taken the baby from her home on Club Lakes Parkway in Lawrenceville.
Police said Bryan is "extremely asthmatic" and that his mother didn't take any of his asthma medication along with them. The grandmother reportedly told investigators that Harvin, who was recently released from jail, headed for a bus station to leave with the boy, police said.
Harvin, 17, is "visibly 6 months pregnant," said Cpl. Illana Spellman, spokeswoman for the Gwinnett County Police Department. She is described as 4'8" and 155 pounds with long black braided hair. Harvin was last seen wearing a brown jogging suit.
Police described 14-month-old Bryan as having short curly hair and a scar on his left hand. He is about 2 feet tall and 29 pounds, last seen wearing a red and black jogging suit.
Spellman said that Bryan's grandmother, Rhonda Harvin, has full legal custody of him.
Harvin is wanted on a charge of interference with custody. Anyone with information about the alleged abduction is asked to call 911 or Gwinnett police criminal investigation division at 770-513-5300.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- A Levi's Call for a 1-year-old boy from Gwinnett County was cancelled Wednesday evening after the boy was found.
Details about where the child was discovered and his condition were not immediately reported.
The boy, who has a medical condition disappeared with his teenaged mother Wednesday morning. But she did not have legal custody, and she did not have his medication.
Police issued a Levi's Call for the baby and his teenaged mother after they were seen at a bus stop on Pleasant Hill Road Wednesday morning.
The baby could have been at risk because he has asthma.
The mother of the baby is 17-year-old Laraeye Harvin. She just got out of jail on Monday.
Laraeye's mother, Rhonda Harvin, is the one who has legal custody of Laraeye's baby, 14-month-old Bryan.
Laraeye is just 4'8", and she is six-months pregnant.
Laraeye's mother said Laraeye took Bryan without taking his asthma medication.
"He's supposed to be taking his medication every four hours and she doesn't have it. So I'm afraid that he's going to go into an asthma attack," Rhonda Harvin said.
Rhonda Harvin said there is a chance that Laraeye took the baby by bus to Clayton County to see her boyfriend. Police are looking there, as well as on buses between here and Clayton County.
Anyone with information about this incident, the child, or the suspect, is asked to call 911 or the Gwinnett County Police Criminal Investigative Division at 770-513-5300.

She isn't bright enough to be a mother. Her mom better convince her to get her tubes tied.
