Police seeking help with man's identity

Farmers Branch police asked Monday for the public's assistance in identifying a man found dead Oct. 30 in a remote area of a vacant field in the 1800 block of Wittington Place.

Unidentified man
The unidentified man was found approximately 100 yards off the roadway. He is believed to have been there less than 24 hours.
The victim is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-7, 168 pounds, with a black Mohawk-style haircut. Both ears are pierced. A bar code is tattooed on his right shoulder, with the last numbers being 08 03 87. He was wearing a red Reebok Jason Kidd jersey, black jogging pants, a black and blue fleece jacket, and black and red Converse size-10 shoes.
The cause of death remains under investigation.
