ACWORTH, Ga. -- The family of a missing Acworth woman is asking for the public’s help to find her.

Police said on Thursday that Annie Ruredzo, 26, was last seen Tuesday walking on Browns Road in Acworth, where Ruredzo lived with her brother and his family.

She was wearing black pants, a black shirt and white tennis shoes.

“I want her to come back so she can take me for walks and that we can play,” said Kavlnte Ruredzo, her 5-year-old nephew.

Missing Woman's Family: Help Us Find Her

ACWORTH, Ga. -- The family of a missing Acworth woman asked Thursday for the public’s help to find her.

Police said on Thursday that Annie Ruredzo, 26, was last seen Tuesday walking on Browns Road in Acworth, where Ruredzo lived with her brother and his family.

She was wearing black pants, a black shirt and white tennis shoes.

The Acworth Police Department is attempting to locate a 26 year old adult female, Chipo (Annie) Ruredzo who has been in the United States since December and is in the country on a student visa from Zimbabwe. Annie has been missing since Tuesday May 6th and was last seen leaving on foot from her residence in the Baker Road area of Acworth. Annie was last seen wearing black pants, black shirt, and white tennis shoes. She is described as a black albino with blue eyes and a black afro style hair cut.

Annie takes medication for Bipolar disorder but the family states that disappearing is not normal behavior. The Acworth Police Department Criminal Investigation Division does not have any evidence of foul play at this time. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the Acworth Police Department detectives at 770-974-1232.

Police: Missing Acworth Woman Found Safe

ACWORTH, Ga. -- A missing Acworth woman has been found safe, police said on Friday.

Investigators did not say where they found Annie Ruredzo, 26. Police did say she is with her family.

Ruredzo vanished Tuesday after she was seen walking on Browns Road in Acworth, where she lives with her brother and his family.

Police did not suspect any foul play. Ruredzo is in the country on a student visa.
