(GENEVA) - The search is still on for a missing woman from Geneva. Police say she disappeared about a week ago.

27-year-old Elisha Vandermortel was last seen on May 1st. Her family says she was involved in drug use, but usually calls when she goes away. She is known to visit the Clinton Avenue area of Rochester.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

Missing Geneva woman sought

Geneva police are looking for a 26-year-old woman who has been reported missing, according to the Police Department.

Elisha Vandermortel has not been seen or heard from since May 1, family members say.

She is white, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair. She has a tattoo on her left ankle.

Family members say she is known to frequent the Clinton Avenue area in Rochester.

Anyone with information about the woman is asked to call the Geneva Police Department at (315) 789-1111.

This does not sound good. I am not familiar with this area that she frequents. Could this be an area where she might have gotten drugs? I pray she is found soon. She has been gone for several months. Her poor family, I can imagine they are really worried about her. It is so sad that there is not any updated information on her. There needs to be something done about the way these cases are looked into.
