Express-News

Two Pearsall High School students disappeared from campus Thursday, and authorities are asking for the public's help to find them.

Benjamin Morales, 16, and Guadalupe Gaspar, 15, described as boyfriend and girlfriend, disappeared in the late morning after their parents dropped them off at school, said Lt. Rey Trevino with the Pearsall police.

Authorities don't know where the couple went or how they left school but suspect they may be in San Antonio.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts can call the Frio County Sheriff's Department at (830) 334-3311

Someone has to be hiding the teens out. They can't make it out there alone.

21????

IF that is her, she could have posted a fake age. Also, IF that is her, is she home? Last login is yesterday. The article states they went missing Thursday, last Thursday?

The article TupperLes posted shows web posted 5/13. But it also says last Thursday. Shoot, I don't know. I hope they are home!

There are no more articles to be found. If they went missing last Thursday you would think there would be old articles out there, strange.

I hope they are safe. The article states- Authorities don't know where the couple went or how they left school but suspect they may be in San Antonio. That's 55 miles.

I live in San Antonio and this is the first I have heard of these 2 missing! It hasn't been on any of the 4 main local tv stations. I have also checked in the local newspaper online. hmmmm...

San Antonio and outer towns are so close together now, that 55 miles is nothing when it comes to traveling in and out of the city.

I think it's strange there are no media articles about the teens missing. I'm wondering if they've been located.

It is strange that the article I posted is the only one to be found, I did some searching last night too.....

It appears to me that the girl lied about her age on myspace, as alot of teens do. (I caught my daughter doing that, and made her change her age along with making her profile private).

I hope they are safe and return home soon.

Sometimes they are found and we never hear that outcome. Hope that is the case here but until we know something we wait. Hope they are safe and return home too.

And then nothing else on these kids. There has been story after story on that other situation, but nothing else on this one. Sad. I hope they are ok. I'm sure if my daughter or son was missing I would be freaking out. We can't even find out what the reason for concern is for these two kids if they only ran away from home. That's why I was wondering if they were in danger or if somebody was after them or something. But NOOOO, still story after story on somebody that is safe and sound and didn't want to be found.

this is to wird because normally they dont report runaways . i have a friend her daughter was a runaway the police didn't report them as a runaway .she had the runarounds, and didn't know where to turn till she called the news station and they showed pics of her daughter, because the police didn't do anything!

DO they normally report runaways like this? Surely these arn't the first kids to do it. There must be something else behind this.

Boy, the articles about these 2 kids are kind of sketchy. Why are they considered "endangered"? Are they running from something or someone who wants to harm them? I know it's not good for two 16-year-olds to be on the loose, but what the heck is going on?

Police thought she might have been with a 16-year-old boy from Pearsall, who was also missing. But that boy turned himself in to Leon Valley Police last week and said he didn't know where Gaspar was.

He turned himself in? For what? I don't know what really happened but sounds like she ran away and he helped her and promised not to tell. They need to investigate any connections the boy has in SA.

Sounds a little fishy to me. He showed up but has no idea where she is. Hmm, somethings not right with that, you think.
