My girl Carrie Underwood won Top Female Vocalist:basic44: She has won a TON of awards since winning American Idol. If I were younger I would be president of her fan club:girl_haha:

I love Carrie. Have her CDs and Simon's prediction on AI came true.

He said she would not only win, but sell more records than any Idol in the history of the show.

I just re-arranged my cd's in my car this morning. Carnival Ride is in slot 2 and her first cd is in slot 4. She is the definition of a true American Idol! And, she doesn't seem to have a big diva ego!

The first time I heard "Jesus Take The Wheel" I was in the car. Got chill bumps all over and started to cry. I was hooked from that day on.

Okay now I'll bore you with my Carrie Underwood story. My dil is from Muskogee, OK and Carrie went to her rival high shcool, they are the same age. Even better, my beautiufl dil kinda looks like Carrie.
My dil works for a dentist, who's nephew dated Carrie prior to American Idol. Since Carrie and nephew broke up after her winning AI, Carrie is not allowed to be mentioned at dil's dentist office (we laugh about that all the time).:girl_haha:

As far as I'm concerned, she is the only true American Idol winner.

Clay Aikens, Kelly whats-her-face, and a few others are just average singers. As for American Idol, I think its time to pull the plug on that show. But thats another subject for another day. JMHO
