Thanks for mentioning that Karental!
Decided to just copy my message over from yesterday's thread:
Good morning! Just popped in to say "HI" to my old friend Bambam and my other CTV compadres! :0012:
Got a new job and have been working a lot, so I don't get a chance to post that much anymore. Searched for Bam to see where she was posting and here you all are! :howdy:
Guess I'll come back and try to catch you all when you're actually online! :girl_haha:
See ya laters! Snick

Morning to all my fellow peeps :howdy:
How's everyone doing. I really can't get into this trial at all; especially when you can't even make out all those audio tapes. What a kook!!!
But, on the brighter side of my life; I have 3 construction guys showing up for the next two days to build a new deck for me. Can't wait to check them all out.
Everyone have a great day. Have to go put on my make-up, do my hair, put on a push-up bra and my girdle.

What's this woman on trial for?
well..... they found 2 dead bodies on her farm... she had burned two guys that had been staying with her (not at the same time) saying that they were pedophiles.... she had been seen with one man around town, like in wal-mart, and he was in a wheelchair and looked ill and beaten... he was a younger man. she picks these guys up on an adult chat line and in homeless shelters... finds vulnerable young men, takes them out to her house and apparently tortures them and kills them. they have found some toes on her land that don't belong to either of these victims!!!!

You need to go to your local fitness store and purchase a neoprene band. They make you sweat like the dog and you'll lose inches off your waist fast. They only cost about $13.99. I wear mine every day when I walk; course I can't freaking walk now because my knees are so bad :1187603408.CR.Mothe

I've got the ex-governor of NJ on (trutv shhhh!).
I know, it's sleazy stuff, but somebody's got to watch it.
It's really funny in a pathetic and disgusting way. If you believe him and his lawyers, he's unemployable, can't make a dime in earnings from this day forward, has no assets and never will, and so that's just too bad for his soon to be ex and their kid. Sort of like it was just too bad for his first wife and their kid.
He's a slug. And a deadbeat dad. And a lazy s.o.b.
He's living with his multi millionaire or billionaire boyfriend, who fulfills his every desire, financially and other ways I imagine.
He wants to become some sort of cleric, and counsel gay boys about 'coming out' and that doesn't pay much or any money.
what a maroon.

MRI
Okay.
I had 2 CT's and I was okay. I was drugged up to my eyeballs, of course...
But I don't want an MRI for nothin.
I thought I heard that there are now open MRI's, somewhere -- since some patients really really can't do the enclosed ones.
My father was one. They got him out he was putting up such a stink. He was truly claustrophobic, too.
Just the thought............
They'd have to come find me in order to get me to have one.

Oh gawd!!! I got a cortisone shot in my knee about 3 weeks ago. I thought I woudl die. Now they are going to inject both knees 3 times for three weeks with chicken fat. Maybe I'll lay an egg or two :francis:
Years ago I had to get those shots in my middle finger. My god they hurt. The first wasn't so bad cause I didn't know what was coming. For some reason they made tears shoot STRAIGHT out of my left eye....about six feet! The doctor said it was the first time he ever saw a reaction like that. It happened each time I got a shot...

Yeah, Cat. Maybe that's where I saw it. Somewhere here in Wisconsin, they are always advertising, "Fort Healthcare" or something like that? It's some health system.
We've got Mercy and they don't have an open MRI--yet.
Wisconsin advertises it's health care systems a lot, don't they? Maybe it's like that everywhere, but I sure do notice it on television, here in Wisconsin.
One good thing: the hospital that saved my life, their ER staff -- Mercy-Walworth, they got the Malcolm Baldridge Award for Excellence, which is a Very Big Deal, and I'm hoping that this will bring to them some monies for expansion. The Baldridge Award is really deserved by this hospital--they are great. It's not a hospital you don't want to go to -- not like you want to go to any hospital, but if you have to, this is a good place.

We'd have to drive 50 miles for a closed one. Such is life out here in the boonies.

The ads I see all the time are for a free-standing MRI clinic, not a hospital, but we have plenty of hospital ads, too. We have St. Mary's (Franciscan Health Care), St. Vincent's (I think they are affiliated with St. Mary's now), and Aurora. I don't know if any received any awards, but that's our choice.

Speak of lie detectors, here's one for ya;
John was a salesman's delight when it came to any
kind of unusual gimmick. His wife Marsha had long ago given
up trying to get him to change.
One day, John came home with another one of his
unusual purchases. It was a robot that John claimed was
actually a lie detector.
It was just about 5:30 that afternoon when Tommy,
their 13 year old son, returned home from school. Tommy was over 2
hours late.
'Where have you been? Why are you over 2 hours late
getting home?', they asked.
'Several of us went to the library to work on an
extra credit project' said Tommy.
The Robot then walked around the table and slapped
Tommy, knocking him completely out of his chair.
'Son , this robot is a lie detector, now tell us
where you went after school.'
'We went to Bobby's house and watched a movie.'
'What did you watch?' asked Marsha.
''The Ten Commandments.' answered Tommy. The Robot
went around to Tommy and once again slapped him, knocking him
off his chair.
With lip quivering, Tommy got up, sat down and said,
'I am sorry I lied. We really watched a tape called Sex Queen.'
'I'm ashamed of you Son,' said John. 'When I was
your age, I never lied to my parents.'
The robot then walked around to John and delivered a
roundhouse right that nearly knocked
him out of his chair.
Marsha was bent double laughing, almost in tears.
'Boy, did you ever ask for that one! And you can't be too mad with
Tommy. After all, He is your son!'
The Robot immediately walked around to Marsha and
decked her too!
