When I get a chance I will go to the other threads and move all updates here... please continue on though putting any others in this thread.
Thank you
Admin
I know I am not supposed to post anything but updates here but when I read the title and saw nothing here I felt I needed to make a comment.
I was very happy to told about this board because I have been on the other board for over 5 yrs now and welcomed one better moderated and controlled.
Since I joined I came here every day for awhile and was disappointed because I thought it was for trial discussion. While a little off topic discussion in slow time is one thing, I found so much off topic discussion it was impossible to follow the trial unless one was watching it live. Even then it was impossible to discuss the trial. I feel sorry for anyone only having a limited amount of time to read the boards to try to follow the trial here. Ultimately I had to go back to the other board for trial coverage that I sometimes miss and the discussion of it.
I do think it is a shame that we do not have another board to discuss the trials that we are all interested in. I seldom come here anymore, because like today I wanted to see everyone's opinions of yesterdays coverage but found it impossible to get opinions because I did not have time to go thru about 22 pages. I did try to jump pages but couldn't find enough coverage to keep my interest here.
I'm sorry to say all this but I feel many, certainly not all, of the old timers feel the same. We want to discuss the trial not join in the chic chat.
Thank You for reading.

Why did you come here for everyone's opinions on the trial if you've already decided that there is too much chit chat here and you've went back to IS boards for trial coverage and discussion?
Most of us here are the old timers and we were happy to find a place where we could join for trial discussions and not worry about being banned for going off topic.
Sorry you don't feel the same way! :0012:

Wow !!!!!!
I want to thank whoever sent me the 2 emails. Especially the one saying "F*** you Haz from the admin". No one but admin has my email address so I am assured it wasn't a hoax.
I wasn't aware that only compliments are allowed on this site.
Why have a trial updates thread if it isn't used. Obviously someone thought it was a good idea. I have seen other posters commenting on having a limited time to read and I think I remember seeing someone ask for the updates only thread.
Why attack me and not them?
Again--Thanks for the F*** you Haz. Very adult.

The e-mail message you received was not a personal one - this site was hacked, and we all got the same e-mail, it was nothing to do with any comments you have made.

I'd say 'You're welcome' but London Lass explained that those emails were sent as part of this site being hacked by some techno-jerk; they had nothing to do with any member of this website, nor was it from any member of the site's administration.
Secondly, as Anna pointed out, why keep coming back here to register your complaints about this site, since you have made the decision that HFTM is not the kind of board you need or want, and that you will remain on InSession with some of the "old timers." Why criticize a website in which you have no interest or involvment?
I suggest (only a suggestion, mind you) that you spend your limited time at InSession, since you seem to prefer it -- and not waste your time here criticizing that which really doesn't concern you.
While being here is time well spent for those of us who have decided to call this website 'home,' it's clearly time ill spent for you, Haz.
To each their own, I say.
I'm sure you agree.

Our posters have said it all. Thank you Andersson, Annalyzer and London Lass.
It wasn't a hoax, but a malicious hacking that has targeted everyone with a mass email. No one has your address.
If you aren't happy with our trial threads, which change every single day during a live trial, you are more than welcome to stay at IS.
Now, let's all do as the thread starter asked and not chat on this thread.
Thank you all, and you especially, Roamer. I appreciate all you do for us.

DNA drumbeat
Posted by Joe Dwinell at 11:38 am
It’s all about the double-helix in the double-murder case of Neil Entwistle today.
State police DNA analyst Laura Bryant is clicking off the DNA matches in mathematical precision:
The DNA profile of Neil Entwistle is correct down to a failure rate of 1 in 5.299 trillion white men.
The DNA on the grip of the alleged murder weapon — a .22 caliber Colt long-barreled revolver — matches Neil Entwistle’s profile.
The DNA on a trigger lock was a “mixture” of two individuals, with Neil Entwistle the “major profile.”
The DNA on a green ammo can was a mix, with Neil Entwistle a “major profile.”
Blood stains in the master bedroom at the Hopkinton murder scene is a match for the DNA profile for Rachel Entwistle.
“Sperm fractions” taken off Rachel’s underpants matches Neil Entwistle’s DNA making him the “major male profile.”
The DNA on the trigger of the alleged murder weapon matches father-in-law Joe Matterazzo as the “major profile.”
The DNA on the muzzle of the gun matches that of Rachel Entwistle.
Yes, all details already known, according to pre-trial court papers. As you’ll hear the defense say, Neil Entwistle went target shooting with his father-in-law, shooting the alleged murder weapon, in the fall before the Jan. 20, 2006, killings.

Beth Karas from TruTV will take calls about the Entwistle trial tonight!
Here is the link: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/True_Crime
This would be a great opportunity to ask Beth any questions about the case!

Wife, Baby-Killer Moved To Different Prison
System Takes Prisoner Safety Into Account
POSTED: 8:50 am EST December 17, 2008
BOSTON -- The British man serving life in prison for the murders of his wife and baby daughter has been transferred to a medium-security lockup in Massachusetts.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Correction said Neil Entwistle was moved to the Old Colony Correction Center in Bridgewater.
He was originally placed in the maximum-security Sousa-Baranowski prison in Shirley following his first-degree murder conviction in June.
Department spokeswoman Diane Wiffin told the Boston Herald Tuesday that Entwistle's transfer was part of the state's inmate classification process that takes a prisoner's safety into account.
Prosecutors said Entwistle fatally shot his wife, Rachel, 27, and 9-month-old daughter, Lillian Rose, in January 2006 after becoming despondent over mounting debt and dissatisfied with his sex life.
