New feature... you can now put a video in your post....

Please remember to only use videos that others would not find offense.
No videos with nudity, profanity, racial slurs, violence against women, etc..

All we ask is that you use good judgment when placing a video on here. If the option gets abused it will have to be removed.

Thanks...

Instructions for video.. not all videos will work at this point. Some video codes are not in the program at this time.. hopefully at some point any/all videos will be able to be used.

all you have to do is put the code in your post and the program will do the rest

lets say the link to you video is

(this link doesn't work, just example)
http://youtube.com/ExampleLinkNotRealDontClick

then just post that link

tada video posted

I'm not sure if I am doing it correctly. After playing the video then waiting awhile, it shows a menu of other videos. One of those videos could be objectionable. Is there a way to post a YouTube video so that it doesn't allow other videos to be played?

When I just played the one you posted it didn't show them at the bottom, but when I play it with my laptop which has vista they show... I don't think there is a way that I can keep them from being shown..I wouldn't worry about it, just post the original one you want to show and if someone clicks on one of the other videos that's their choice..

Thank you for the prompt reply. It seems to pick similar videos at random. I think it is fantastic opportunity as I enjoy video news over written articles. Many posters don't trust links to videos. So, this is perfect!:zm10:

I agree.. I just need to find some coding so we will be able to play video from news links.. I think it woud be great in some of these cases. I am thinking they may have to be downloaded to a pc and then uploaded to youtube in order to do so..
