Bees leave a pheremone behind that signals "danger" and can attract other bees to you, but it's usually not a problem unless you're in the middle of a swarm. If you get stung, just use a fingernail and flick the stinger out, and most of the venom and the scent goes with it. Bumble Bees and honey bees can only sting once, and they die, so they are really quite mellow. The LAST thing they want to do is sting and die. Wasps and yellow jackets can sting multiple times and it doesn't kill them, so they can be more aggressive.

The judge specifically said to the jurors that opening and closing arguments ARE NOT evidence and should not be considered in their deliberations. So, the jury shouldn't even be considering the suicide theory that Winey put forth in his closings. It's not evidence. The only evidence we have is what the prosecution put on. There is no other possible person other than NE.

Really? Oh, I hope you are right. I told someone earlier and I feel this: it's like Orange Taylor's jury. That should have been a slam dunk fast return like nobody's business and that jury HUNG. I'm feeling there is someone on this jury who is like that stealth juror on that trial.

It shouldn't be this hard; this one really is a no brainer with no other possible suspects than Neil Entwistle. It shouldn't take that long to put this picture together.

The jury in the Entwistle double-murder trial will work a full day today (Wednesday’s were out at 1). Not today! This is the day the real debating usually begins.

You can tell the jury was setting up a timeline in this case — as we report today — and now they are clear for takeoff. The blog is at the court waiting, as promised all those years ago, for the gavel to fall. Stay tuned.

The jury was just dispatched to the deliberation chambers. One juror may have been a tad late. Traffic all around Boston was chest-tightening this a.m., so you can’t blame them.

Observation: All the jurors were dressed nicely today. It gives them an air of professionalism. And, once again, not a single one looked at Neil Entwistle as they passed in and out of court directly in front of the defense table.
