Man jailed for police wife murder

A cheating husband who planned the murder of his wife so he could start a new life with his mistress has been jailed for life at the Old Bailey.

Special constable Nisha Patel-Nasri, 29, bled to death after being stabbed with a kitchen knife at her home in Wembley, north London, in May 2006.

Fadi Nasri, 34, planned the murder to claim a £350,000 insurance policy to pay off debts of more than £100,000.

He was told he would serve a minimum of 20 years in prison.

Two other men were also given life sentences for the murder.

Yet another prime example of our fantastic judicial system handing out "life" sentences...it makes me so mad! :madranting94dp:

What I don't like is the minimum 20 years.

Your country does not have the dp, London?

Do they have LWOP?

No...they VERY occasionally say life to mean life, but hardly ever!

20 years. Not enough time. The good thing is, he doesn't get that money from the life insurance policy he coveted.
