with Jennifer Love Hewitt.
I love this show. I think Jennifer plays an awesome part. James Van Praagh is the consultant on this show. I like how they show the spirits and why they are earthbound. After helping their cause, they are sent to the light.
Does anyone watch?

I do, and I love it, too. Do you like Medium? I hear it is coming back in January. I missed it.

I really like Ghost Whisperer, I wonder if they are going to continue working the Gabriel character into the story line.
Did you guys catch the Santa episode?

I think they are putting Gabriel in. He's the one causing havoc for Melinda.
I watched Medium a few times, when it comes back on the air, I will watch again.

Another show I really liked was 'Tru Calling' It was on Fox, I was really ticked, they just took it off the air with no warning right in the middle of a story line.

I never really got into Medium, but I may give it another try if it comes back on.

I saw the Santa episode.
I love the family on Medium. Theirfamily dynamics are so real. That little chubby girl (I think her name is really Bridget) is just a charmer and a scene stealer. Actors must hate working with her.

I love Ghost Whisperer and Medium. When they bring Medium on in January, at least they should be new episodes. The problem I had with Medium was the network changed the nights it was on and I think put it on Friday night last season.
You can catch reruns of Medium from its previous season on the Lifetime Network.
I've loved Ghost Whisperer from the first season it was on.

I had never watch Ghost Whisperer until Friday night. So, the only episode I've ever seen was the Santa episode. I really enjoyed it and will watch it again!

Which was a tear jerker, Tracian, Ghost Whisperer or Medium? Or both? In my area, Ghost Whisperer comes on at the same time as The Dog Whisperer, which I have been watching since I first heard about it. I opted for Ghost Whisperer partly because I knew Dog Whisperer, a cable production, would be repeated many times, and partly because of my experience with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In that case, I had waited too long, and had missed the first few episodes. I eventually saw them (and now have not one but two DVD sets of the whole seven seasons). I also associated Jennifer Love Hewitt with Sarah Michelle Gellar, not so much because of similarities between them as because they had co-starred in "I Know What You Did Last Summer." Think of one, think of the other. So I started watching Ghost Whisperer from the beginning. I have no complaints about Hewitt or her co-stars, but there's something about the production techniques that seems wanting to me. I keep expecting and wanting the kind of space generated by the camera work in Buffy, which I thought was superb. Perhaps I also want the kind of interaction among characters found in Buffy.
I don't think the camera work is as kind to Hewitt as the producers probably think. Endless close-ups also close the characters in. Still, undying nostalgia for Buffy is not exactly fair to Ghost Whisperer or any other show. Jennifer is so good to look at that perhaps the production is BETTER than it needs to be in order to be watchable.
I like both the Ghost Whisperer AND Medium, but I'd have to say I like Medium better. Somehow I find the sweet, loving wife/business woman Jennifer Love Hewitt plays at odds with her wardrobe.

DH only show he looks forward to is Ghost Whisperer. I am the believer but I think he has a thing for JLH!!
Medium is another fav. It is based on the true life stories of "Allison Bubois". Seen her on TV and she is very interesting. That darling little girl, middle child is a HOOT.
I watched probably most shows about the paranormal that I get.

Pretty Leaf, he probably likes her outfits. :girl_haha:
I think I would watch Medium just to see Bridget; you're right, she's a hoot. Great little actress.

Medium started last night (Monday) I taped it to watch later. They have taped their season already so should not have any production lapses.

Watched Medium last night and they have gotten really creative this season. Haven't decided if I like the story line yet.
I like both shows, GW & Medium.

I watched the season finale a couple of weeks ago. She, her mom, her husband, the woman who works in her store with her and the guy she works with a lot, were waiting to cross the street together on a sunny day. The guy happen to look down and said "why are there only 4 shadows and not 5?" So someone is going to leave the show, but how?

I think it will be Jay Mohr (Professor Payne) because I heard that he has a comedy series. I really like his character too. :(

Yes I heard about Jay Mohr's new series. I guess he will go, don't know how they will cut him out. He has been on less and less.
Did you see this last episode with the ghost who died 4 times, being reincarnated?
Melinda was chosen or so she thought to help this soul achieve another life, show him what he was missing, due to always being reincarnated you will come back until you live life and learned lessons. The show ended with him going to the light, she taught him about love and acceptance and he was ready to be accepted in the light. She is pregnant, but don't know if she will have a miscarriage since that ghost made peace and won't be reincarnated again..

If they plan on killing him off they shouldn't. Sometimes new series don't make it and he could come back just in case.
I just find the stories in Medium more realistic to me.
Besides, JL-H's appearance just distracts me from the story. The prominent bare breasts contrasted with the goody-two-shoes persona compiled with the raccoon eyed makeup make her almost a cartoon character to me. Every once in a while when I'm trying to watch it I feel like I've gone thru a time warp and I'm looking at Marlo Thomas in "That Girl"

We watch both shows and look forward to the new season. The little girl in Medium was on Jay Leno quite a while back and she is such a hoot. She has more comebacks to Jay then I have seen in a long time. You can't help but laugh, she is such a character.

Lisa Williams is good too.
I've watched her.
I also watch Sylvia Browne when she's on the Montel show. As a matter of fact I've signed up for a website lesson with her tonight with SpiritNow. I do hope I learn a few things tonight.
