Days of our lives? any one watch this one?

I do. I have watched DOOL for 20 years now. Marlena and Sami are my favorites. Right now I am boycotting it, because they allowed Lucas and Sami to divorce, when we have waited 15 years for them to finally be together, and it lasted a whole 6 months grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I think they will get back together later on don't you? Lucas i hear is going to be gone for awhile, but that might be just hearsay, I do like EJ but I would like to see him with some one else. Do you think John is comming back? or Brady?

I was in the store the other day, and there was a picture of Marlana on a soap mag, and it said Surprise Miracle in store for her. I am thinking John might be coming back.

I like EJ, just not with Sami. And the fact that he can walk, and is lying to Sami about it, is a typical Di'mera act.

Did you see Sami push him out of his wheelchair like she knew he was faking it, the look on his face.Here is what I think jmo though that Will shot EJ and Lucas is covering for him, I can't really see who else did it can you, why would Lucas say he did it and go through all this, I think he may be protecting someone and that someone is Will.
All and all I think it will turn out good in the end.It's getting really good now, and i don't know about Belle, will she tell shawn the thruth?

No, I didn't see that. Will or Colleen, thats who I think the woman in black was, unless they have revealed that was Marlena.

I don't think Bell will tell Shawn the truth, but I think Phillip will, and Shawn will divorce Bell.

The Hortons gather to hang their ornaments.

Ashlee Holland (I Wanna Be A Soap Star Winner) debuts as Crystal, a psychic.

Crystal tells Marlena that John is alive!

Stefano and Rolf learn the patient has escaped!

Stephanie tells Kayla about the rape.

In case you missed it in the coming and goings, Bryan Dattilo's (Lucas) manager issued a statement that despite the rumors, Bryan's contract with Days has been picked up and Lucas is not going anywhere.

I don't think Belle and Shawn will go through a divorce. I think they plan on making them one of the super couples like Bo & hope, Steve & Kayla, Marlena & John. IMO

Phillip is looking good. Too bad the couldn't get the orginal Shawn and Belle back, it would great to see them all playing adult roles. IMO

I liked Cloe before now she is a troublemaker. I cannot STAND her voice..no inflection but she is a stunner to look at.

I never did like Cloe, but definitely found her annoying this go round. I have no sympathy for her and don't understand what the writers are thinking at this point. Brady was supposed to be the love of her life and she runs? To Philip? Brady was kidnapped, left blood, they have domestic issues, so she didn't call the police? First thing she does is catch Belle in the hotel and gets rather catty? Nope. No sympathy from me.

Shawn has annoyed me for a long time as well. All the drama involved maybe makes for an active show, but how about giving him a little humor and less of a temper? Belle, I am neutral on at this point. She should be single for now and just deal with her personal issues.

So Belle tells Shawn that she slept with Philip prior to the marriage. Duh - she was his wife at some point. Anyway, yes, it is bad. It is equally bad that everyone knew before Shawn did. But Shawn needs to step back (well, both of them do) and reevaluate their relationship instead of just getting angry.

I'm so glad to hear that John is coming back, but again I'm mad at the writers for killing him off in the first place.

Julie Pinson (Billie Reed) will exit Days of our Lives in the next few weeks, soapcentral.com has learned. According to a setside source the actress is being written out as part of the show's continued efforts to trim its budget.

Pinson joined the cast of the NBC soap in August 2004 after years of being talked about as a potential Billie recast. Prior to joining DAYS, Pinson appeared on the ABC soap Port Charles.

Shirley Jones (mama Partridge Family) has been hired for a Colleen story line.

So lets see, Stephano was about 5-6 when his Dad and Colleen were together.

He must be in his late 50's early 60's now on the show.
Andre and Tony are in the 40's on the show I would think.
Elvis is in his 30's if you think he and Sami are the same age. Sami has Will in her 20's and he is now iin his teens.

So Stephano in 60's then add 20+ yrs (for his dad's age when he and Collen were together)to that. Colleen must be at least 75-80. So Shirley Jones to play a woman that old??

My math may be off as I am not that great in Math, hee hee.

confirmed by both actors.

What I find comical, when Ed Scott was hired (from Y and R) he stated that when you are gone you are gone. Next thing John Black was gone and then back a couple of months later.

If I had to pick just one character, this is so hard to do......

Male:

Lucas because he is the hottest hottie of them all. :girl_haha:

My favorite use to be Roman when he was with Marlena in late 70's.

Female:

Maggie, I have always loved her. :1222423:

But Julie is my second fav. I loved the Doug and Julie Days. That was when DOOL was the best. IMO

Totally not about the show but I gotta share...

A few nights ago I had a dream that I was a guest on Days, or something, and in order to become a part of it I had to burp. Yes, burp, as loud as I could. Supposedly, Dr Horton had long ago established this competition. They would record you and then play it back. Old Doc Horton had always remained the winner of the loudest burp. That is, until I showed up. They recorded me 3 times because they didn't believe I could out burp the dearly departed doctor.
Then it turned into me being on a date with Dane Cook and meeting up with Tom and Katie.
I woke up as having dinner with Cruise scared me.

I just realized that I have been a fan of DOOL for 35 years now. lol lol lol Unlike days of old, I now watch it for a few weeks, skip a few weeks, then tune back in.

Actor Wayne Northrup played the original character "Roman Brady" before Drake Hogestyn took the role over for a time. I loved Wayne in that role and thought he and "Marlena" had amazing chemistry. When Wayne re-surfaced many years later as an evil doctor, I thought surely he would be eventually unveiled as a good guy. Maybe even get romantically re-involved with "Marlena" at some point.

I agree that actor Josh Taylor (current "Roman Brady") really messed up on his tons of plastic surgery. He looks like a fake doll.

I've met some of these older actors in real life over the years and they seem to be lovely people. I adore Deidre Hall, who looks as youthful as ever.

If the show truly ends in 2009, I'll be sad. I know it's "just a soap," but it's been with me for sooooooo long, and some of the characters seem like family.

I have read 3 really good books related to Days of our Lives.

1. The 30th Anniversay Celebration: Days of our Lives, The Complete Family Album

* excellent reference book

2. All The Days of My Life, by Alison Sweeny (Sami)

* true life story

3. Like Sands Through the Hourglass, A Story of Love by Bill Hayes & Susan Seaforth Hayes (Doug & Julie)

* this was my favorite book and was wrote in a neat style going back and forth with Bill telling his story and Susan telling hers.

Have read (don't ask me where) that Belle and Shawn will be returning to the series after a hiatus. Now that the old writers are back they will return although no confirmation of who will be playing the parts.

I use to like Belle and Shawn but can't say I will miss them that much now.

Looking forward to the new Mickey played by Kevin Dobson. I have to admit, I have not been watching everday like I use to, so the new Mickey may have already appeared.

I love when they bring Doug and Julie back on the show. I especially love any story lines with Maggie too.

Kevin Dobson is on today as Mickey Horton and doing a fine job. He looks great with Maggie.

Mickey just hired EJ to work in his office, but Maggie had to beg him to hire EJ.

I wish they would bring back that crazy girl who locked Shawn up in a huge cage. She was funny.

I forget what happened to Mimi, but I liked her too. I enjoyed Rex as well.
