::sigh:: I miss this show, one of the smartest shows on television.
We got our economic stimulus check and I took part of my half and bought the entire series. Every day I'm watching the episodes and I'm currently on season 5. What are your favorite episodes? Do you even like the show? Am I a silly fluff head or what?
My favorite episode has to be the festival of living art. That was awesome! (and I hate that word)
My second has to be the Thanksgiving episode where Jackson deep fried the turkey and Kirk got a kitten he named, (what else?) Kirk. (Kirk took the yarn and tried to garotte him) :67302:

Those are funny episodes.:happy0158:

Yeah, I watched it and miss it.
I liked the episode and it may be the one you are talking about Tami. Where Kirk ended up sleeping in the Gazebo in town because his cat was trying to kill him. :67302:
Kirk was so funny.
I also liked the episode where they were remodeling Lorlie's bedroom. There was a big hole in her bedroom when she woke up.:67302:

IMO one of the best shows that ran on television. I own all seasons except the last. Have to say I didn't care for the final ending, and the last season seemed to be forced, but overall no complaints. Even our 16 year old son loves the show. My husband was so hooked on the show I bought him the CD as one of his presents one year for his B-Day.

Another good one was the test run for the Dragonfly when Kirk had the night terrors and ran outside naked right past Luke and Lorelai kissing!
Just saw the one where there's a hole in her bedroom. They tried to make TJ think he was the contractor until he found out that they don't go get everyone's lunch. heh

I didn't like the show at first. I thought Rory was quite snotty to her mother and wasn't disaplined.
Then I started watching 2 yrs ago for lack of anything else on and really got the feel for it. I then went back and watched the earlier seasons and understood their relationship.
Any of the episodes with Luke and Taylor were great. Kirk was a hoot!
The last season just kind of fizzled. The whole Rory/Logan thing was a bore for me.

Sorry it took me so long. I had to finish watching the series because I'd forgotten what happened for sure.
In the last couple episodes Rory had a meltdown and even didn't turn in part of one final. Her and Logan had a fight because he'd botched a major business deal, lost millions, and he reverted to previous behavior by running off with Colin and Finn.
Lorelai and Christopher broke up their marriage after Chris found a character reference Lor had written for Luke. Chris was the last to show at the hospital when Richard had a heart attack and needed a bipass.
Luke and Lor apologized to each other at the spring fling in the hay maze. She for running off to Chris and he for distancing Lor due to his daughter April.
Rory graduated from Yale and Logan proposed at the party at the grandparent's house. she requested time to think about it. She turned him down on grad day and he said it was ALL or nothing, so they broke up.
Lorelai found out from Sookie that Luke planned and carried out the town surprise, "bon voyage, Rory" party. He even stayed up all night sewing tarps together because of rain that was due.
They kissed passionately and the next day you see LL and R at the diner. Lorelai is wearing the necklace Luke bought her from Liz and the series ended where it started, in the diner.
Lane also gave birth to twin boys, Kwan and Steve.

Oops, I forgot the part about the job that Rory got. It's kind of funny now that you look back on it. She was hired as one of the press on Obama's presidential campaign.

I'm glad she turned Logan down...there was always something fishy about him to me.
