That is what I don't understand, Roamer. What was he running away from? Were there really burglars, and what about the valuables taken. And where are the parents statements about these events.

Updates:
9:30 p.m. PST: Bronson has been located safe. I wonder what the real story was behind this Amber Alert. The list of items taken were some valuables and some prescription medication. The by the alleged victim to 911 was logged a little after noon today. By this evening the FBI and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation were involved in the search for this young man.
About three blocks from his home another teen saw Bronson running from the basement of his home and he called police. Police searched the woods for Bronson because they thought he might be hiding in a cave, but no luck.
He ended up on the front porch of a home in the area. The homeowner recognized Bronson from the Amber Alert announcement and called police.
Tonight Bronson is with his parents at a local emergency room being checked out. At this point authorities do not believe this was an abduction; they believe Bronson ran away from home.2
Curious about the prescription drugs though. Unless they thought this child was going to commit suicide.
I am glad they found him alive.
