Paraphrased from PorchlightUSA. http://z13.invisionfree.com/PorchlightUSA/index.php?showtopic=455 (discussion at link)

A witness saw them driving north very slow on highway 14 and had seen another car behind them. Linda McCord's husband found the car north of where they should have turned off to go home. According to the info at link the car was never processed because there was no evidence of foul play.

As far as I can tell, there isn''t anything about the two ladies. It is just such a strange case. Gonna try again to get some of the other info.

I wish they had checked the car out but they said at the time there was no evidence of foul play. But it's so confusing to me, because they are missing and the car is abandoned so that looks like foul play.

You are so right. And not have missing posters at all for the adults. I don't know if a police report was even done about them. If so, there should be some info about them.

A beautiful girl if she is still alive. I will check and see if I can find anyting on the women. I don't think they ever posted a picture of them. When I said I didn't think they did a report, I meant, like putting the two women on missing adults sites. I may be wrong. I just haven't found any. Thanks again Packy, I would have still been trying to do photobucket.:francis:

It does seem that there is a resemblance and the time period would fit. Can you call it in just in case, Nut?

I sent in a tip on the GBI Tipline. I do not have what it takes to get involved with calling in tips. I am terrible on the phone...like I am talking to an answering machine when I am speaking to real people. Errrr.....ummmmm....ahh it's weird, because I don't speak in person like that. No confidence, I guess. I only use a phone when I have to. Wouldn't have a clue how to use a cell phone, lol. Many here are used to calling in tips...I just can't. :(

I have always wanted to believe that she is alive and safe with her Mother.
Baby Doe would have been 1 1/2 years later. I know it could still be, and either way, it is a precious baby that was thrown away. I wish they would not print that she might have been alive when placed in the suit case. :(
Nut, you are very brave! I don't mind calling, I am wondering if I am supposed to give my name? Full name? I always tell them I am a volunteer with help find the missing. I have only had one time that I was intimidated. Police Chief wanted to meet with me and see how I fit into the case. This was not from a tip line, but from a relative mentioning my name. Still scared the daylights out of me. Everyone else has been very kind.

Just a tip: When you have trouble speaking...stop thinking about how you sound. You sound fine. Just open your mouth and say the words. You are capable, you are confident. (just back ears and dive in, LOL). Sometimes it helps to have everything in writing in front of you so you will not have to stumble on the phone. You are doing a good job and we appreciate it. I am just remembering the first time I had to teach at a seminar.....I considered calling in sick or just shooting myself.

GBI RESPONDED!!

Email I received from Marla Lawson <Marla.Lawson@gbi.ga.gov>

Thanks so much for your help in this. The investigator working the case in this county is looking into this case with positive results. This baby was found encased in cement. The father of this Boyd baby works construction in the cement business building roads and when this baby was located he worked in the South Georgia area. His wife or the baby’s mother is also missing. The investigation continues at this point. Thank you so much for your help. It is few people who do take time from their busy lives to help search. Thanks again.

I still find it very strange there were never any missing persons notices put out on the mother of the child and her friend (Sahah (Sarah??) W. Boyd, and her mother's friend Linda McCord)

Oh Nut!!! I am excited yet sick! When I read about the Dad's job my tummy just tumbled.
I have spent many hours searching for Linda McCords and Sarah Boyd. I have printouts someplace I will find. I looked for phone numbers, etc. Several places I found both names with residences. I'll look now and see what I have. But the thing is, if the father killed the baby, the women couldn't sill be alive. I never could think of a way he would have killed all three without someone knowing something. Then again, if this is Kimberly, they are probably encased in cement under a road or something. I hope they find the truth!
I am so proud of you!!! You just have no idea how many times I would go to sleep thinking of this child, of course, always still a baby in my mind.
Lauran, I know I am spelling that wrong but my mind won't work right, from Porchlight has done a lot of searching on this case, also.

Thank you....I hope it helps. I am a member at Porchlight. I'll skip over and see what I can find. I don't spend a lot of time there, basically because I don't have the time.

It seems to me they could put Sarah Boyd's DL picture on the internet. Even though it would be old, since she was an adult her looks may not have changed much.
On the search engines, there are lots of listings for A Sarah Boyd and A Linda McCord.
That doesn't mean it is either of the missing ladies, I know. I wonder if the two ladies have any family living.

I would like to know what an FBI profiler would say about the person who went to such extremes to hide a little body. The first thing I thought was he was afraid the child would come out to get him. Maybe just really meaning he would be caught. I know she could not get out.
