NOPD Searches For Missing Girl

NEW ORLEANS -- Police are searching for Timmoneisha Sate Smith, 14, of New Orleans. The New Orleans Police Department said she was reported missing on July 16, 2008.

Police said Smith was last seen by her mother, Amansor Smith, at their residence at the 1500 block of Shirley Drive around 4 a.m. that morning.

Amansor said the absence is not characteristic of her daughter and she has neither seen nor heard from her.

Timmoneisha is described as black, 98 pounds and 5 feet 3 inches tall. She was last seen wearing a blue and green tank top and peach colored shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NOPD at 504-821-2222.

Child not listed with NCMEC assume she had been located before report made to NCMEC. Internet search found no further information.

It does seem she might have returned. Hopefully after the holiday we can make a call to LE.
