Police Searching For Missing Man

HUDSON, Ohio -- Hudson police are searching for a man who went missing at 10 a.m. Friday.

William J. Brown, 74, is 5 feet 10 inches tall, and 150 pounds. He is bald and has blue eyes.

He was last seen in the vicinity of Laurel Lake Retirement Community on Laurel Lake Drive In Hudson. Police have been searching the lake and woods in the area.

Brown was wearing a khaki-colored, long-sleeve, button-down shirt, tan pants, black socks, dark brown leather boat shoes and a wide-brimmed hat.

Body Found Identified As Missing Man

HUDSON, Ohio -- The body of a missing man has been found in a wooded area near his retirement community.

The body of a man found in Hudson Monday morning has been positively identified as that of a 74-year-old man missing since Friday.

William Brown was last seen Friday morning.

Police said Brown's body was found at 7:49 a.m. in a wooded area near Laurel Lake Retirement Community, where he was a resident in the independent living area.

Dental records were used to identify Brown.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. No other information was available.

(Hudson) - The body of a deceased male was found in the vicinity of Laurel Lake Retirement Community Monday morning by the Hudson Police Department.

HPD discovered the body as it was continuing the search for 74-year-old William J. Brown who went missing from the Laurel Lake Retirement Community on Friday.
