Not that I believe the NE, but don't they do a background check before hand to see if this person is legit? Guess not.
Someone named Donna Thomas is going to testify against Scott....

Why don't they leave SP alone? Hasn't the media done enough damage?!:0009:

The media? The media didn't convict Scott. A jury of his peers did. The media didn't make Scott murder his wife and baby. Funny, the Peterson's don't have a problem using the media to support their evil spawn. Can't have it both ways. :shrug1:

Perhaps you should read "Presumed Guilty"
I don't think he murdered anyone.
They withheld evidence about two other women who were murdered in the same area that was eight months pregnant and one of them was missing her head just as LP. There is so much more, but I have to get to work.
....Here's another case you should think about.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Sheppard
"Samuel Holmes Sheppard (December 29, 1923(1923-12-29) – April 6, 1970)[1] was an American osteopathic physician[2] involved in a famous and controversial murder trial when he was convicted of the murder of his pregnant wife, Marilyn Reese Sheppard. Sheppard served almost a decade in the Ohio Penitentiary before his 1954 conviction was overturned and declared a miscarriage of justice. In 1966, he was acquitted in a new trial.
In 2000, Sheppard's son Sam Reese Sheppard, who had been seven years old at the time of his mother's murder, sued the State of Ohio for his father's alleged wrongful imprisonment. After a 10-week-long trial, a civil jury unanimously ruled against him."
"Some newspapers and other media in Ohio were accused of bias against Sheppard and inflammatory coverage of the case, and were criticized for immediately labeling Sheppard as the only viable suspect. Some believe that a specific headline from the Cleveland Press, "Why Isn't Sam Sheppard in Jail?," clearly indicated the bias of the media against Dr. Sheppard.

<sarcasm> Can't believe that won't free Scott? lmao
That is funny. Perhaps you should have paid attention on other boards when it was explained a million times this means nothing. Only those who didn't understand this case or you didn't follow the trial scream "the media convicted Scott". No repeating this lie is going to free your man. Haven't you noticed after all these years yet. Guess not.
Have you read the Peterson blog? It is comical to watch the distortion posted by the same people using different nics. Scott doesn't have that many fans. Of course the truth never gets on there. Those posts get thrown away by the Peterson or Marlene Newell. They only fool people like you. No wonder they are getting laughed at. I'd feel sorry for them, but everyone with an ounce of intellegence knows Scott's parents knew from day one he committed murder and they show daily they don't care. They really should give up their cherade. It isn't going to help Scott.
OH poor Scott is was wronged by the media, but he is looking to use the media soon. Haven't you heard? His daddy is too. How convenient...<sarcasm>. Can't have it both ways.

I don't think I ever claimed I wanted it "both ways"
My belief on the case- The media coverage sealed his fate from the start. All the evidence wasn't presented at trial. If the jurors would have been able to hear ALL the evidence, the outcome could have been different.
btw/ you can leave your sarcasm at the front door next time.
Thank you.

No, Scott sealed his fate when he would crow to the media. He got caught in so many lies he insisted on telling for the world to hear and see. Blame Scott, not the media. FYI, the jurors were able to hear all the evidence provided to them. Missed that? What did they miss? Oh wait, they weren't able to hear what Garagos didn't provide. Remember he claimed to have evidence that proved Scott was innocent? He couldn't for his very guilty client. Garagos lied. Can you believe that? He got caught lying. Darn, all the money the Ps spent and Garagos and Lee Peterson couldn't show up for the verdict. Now that was classic. How embarassing.
btw/you can leave lies about this case at the door. How's that blaming the media and the jury working for you and Scott?

Do you own a copy of "Presumed Guilty"?
If not, I strongly encourage you to get a copy, and then and only then will you see the cover-up.
Have a nice day!

No clues about premeditation, no crime scene, no cause of death or time of death, no eyewitness, weapon, or confession and yet he got the DP. And Geragos couldn't see the file on Evelyn Hernandez which appeared to have similarities, so how can a person not wonder.
Stay cool y'all!

Circumstantial evidence was pretty overwhelming. No cause of death? Dumped in the bay where Scott was "golf fishing". He got the DP he deserved. Garagos was allowed to see whatever he wanted. He chose not to because he knew there was no comparison to this case. Where was his evidence that would prove Scott innocent? <crickets>

Read the book.
PRESUMED GUILTY!!!
Question-
Why would SP murder his wife and unborn child for a woman he dated a total of THREE times? That's a little something the public wasn't aware of. (including myself) until I read the book. There's a hell of alot more the public wasn't/isn't aware.
What a f**king shame! Don't tell me there aren't innocent people rotting in prison for crimes they didn't commit. I receive news letters from the innocent project almost daily of someone being released due to DNA testing that proved they did not commit the crimes they were convicted of.
Scott Peterson was sentenced to DEATH ROW on CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE!!! The only country in the world to murder somebody on circumstantial evidence. We all should be very afraid. This could happen to any of us.

According to the Bee that was also postponed.
Scott Peterson's civil court trial was pushed back after a motion to continue the trial was filed Friday. Lawyers will meet in Stanislaus County Superior Court on July 21, when Judge Roger Beauchesne will set a new trial date. The wrongful death lawsuit filed by Peterson's former in-laws was planned to begin July 8 and should last about five weeks. Peterson was convicted of murdering his wife, Laci, and unborn son, Conner, then dumping her body in San Francisco Bay during a Christmas Eve 2002 fishing trip. The jurors said he should die, but the verdicts have been appealed.

Why would they delay? Scott is going to plead the 5th for every question. He will lose this too. The Peteron's should hand over that reward money they claim to have.

Nectarine you are fighting a losing battle here. :groan: Don't you realize that some folks just have their own agendas about this case and some have tunnel vision that pretty boy Peterson couldn't have committed murder. What about the phone calls from "Paris" to Amber on New Years eve, laughing at Lacy's and Connor's vigil, not participating in any of the attempts to find his wife and unborn son, his fake T.V. appearances, the concrete 'anchors' for his boat, dyed hair, new gotee, money and evidence of a planned trip to God knows where, in a car that his mother purchased for him 'to throw off LE that was keeping surveillance'', the fake crying and his whole demeanor during his trial. Nope there is no way that anyone could convince me that this is an innocent man. He had the opportunity and the motive.......he wanted to be a playboy, not a husband or father. JMO, but I do believe that justice was served here for Lacy and Connor.:1222423:

I know what you mean. Good post. On another board another Scott supporter with a very useless agenda claims the Peterson's have secret info that will prove Scott innocent. Yeah and I'm the pope! The lies continue, it's crazy.

LMAO!
I could say the same for you both.
"Pretty Boy"?
Please!
I see an injustice and so have a lot of other people. You just want someone to blame, and why not blame SP. How convenient.
PRESUMED GUILTY BY MATT DALTON
I think that pretty much clears it up for me.
