BOCA RATON — Police are seeking a 53-year-old man who disappeared from his home on Friday.

James Yurasek was last seen by his wife Deborah. He was wearing a golf shirt and dark shorts and packing a suitcase. He drove away in a white 2000 Chevrolet Ventura van with a Florida tag L434BJ.

His wife said that friends and family have not heard from him and she is concerned about his health.

Boca Raton police officers checked hospitals, hotels and places frequented by Yurasek, who is 5'10" tall, 175 lbs., with short brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Yurasek is asked to call Det. Juan Pijuan at (561) 338-1387.

OCA RATON, Fla. -- Boca Raton police are searching for a man who has been missing since Friday.

James Yurasek, 53, was reported missing by his wife, Deborah, on Sunday. Deborah Yurasek said the last time she saw her husband, he was leaving their home Friday with a suitcase.

Deborah Yurasek said she was worried about her husband because he has health problems, police said.

Police and the missing man's wife have searched for James Yurasek and contacted friends and family, but they have not found any sign of him.

James Yurasek is described as about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 175 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen in a white 2000 Chevrolet Ventura van with Florida tag L434BJ.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.

Thanks for the update Begood! This case bothered me only in that this man didn't look happy and it appeared that he left on his own to "escape" for lack of a better word. I hope all is well and wish only the best for him and his family.
