Local news is covering the story about the threats made to the Anthony's. Several threats have been received at their home. Letters, extortion letters, threatening phone calls. Cindy say's the extortion letter was forwarded to LE, HOWEVER, a spokesperson for OCSO/LE is saying they know nothing of that letter.
Cindy is also complaining about old friends turning on them...Cindy say's "People can hate me, they can continue to send me hate mail, but I am just going to ask them, you know, you never know, I am fifty years old and I never would have dreamed I would be walking and living this nightmare right now".
Awwwww, poor lady. It's so sad this happened to her. (major sarcasm)

I don't post much, but I do read, and agree with, everything you guys post about this case. It would honestly be funny if it weren't so pathetic. Every time I watch the video of Cindy telling everyone to get off their azzes and find her granddaughter, I want to scream and shake the stuffing out of her.
I would love to be a fly on the wall of the Anthony house tonight and just listen to these people talk about what lies they will tell tomorrow. I pray that charges are brought against both George and Cindy for the lies they've told LE and for the lies told under oath on that witness stand. If enough pressure is put on them, maybe, just maybe one of them, or Lee, will crack and tell the truth about this baby.
:1222423: Caylee, you are in my thoughts and prayers sweet baby.
ETA I dreamed about Caylee again last night. In my dream, Casey was partying and was so drunk she forgot where she left the baby.

It does seem like they must be figuring out a new story every day. I too dream that Caylee is safe with somebody who thought they could love her and take better care of her than Caylee or her family, like maybe her father's family. Sadly though I don't think that's where she is, but instead she's safe in Heaven.

I was actually surprised to learn that Casey didn't even leave for 'work' until 1 pm, did she work full time?
Seems odd to me that if she did Cindy or George wouldn't ever pick Caylee up on their way home from work from any sitter and go ahead and feed her and give a a bath etc..Obviously George was home that day (the 16th) why couldn't he watch Caylee?

I hope Cindy keeps blabbing about Caylee's dad. In the beginning she couldn't recal his name. Tonight she tells us he had moved to another state and had started a family. By the end of the week she will inform us he is in politics and is running for an electictive office. By next week, he'll be a presendential candididate, and then we will all know why Casey is sitting in jail for lying. She is protecting our homeland security.

I just don't understand the parents' pycho-babbling. I'm frustrated by the law even though I'm an upright citizen who pays her taxes and generally accepts the status quo. Something very dark inside me wants to drag this Casey out of her cell and and violate all her rights and just beat the snot out of her until the truth comes out.
God forgive me for thinking this way, but I do.

Do you guys remember Lee saying we could figure out who the Dad was....Casey got pregnant in November, and the guy died in another state. When did they move from Ohio? He also said the guy was around Casey's age. Wonder if he was a friend from Ohio, or a friend from Florida that moved. I also remember someone, possibly Padillo saying the father died in a wreck in South Carolina.

This is what I thought. Maybe the "father" joined the military after highschool and went to basic training in (I thought I heard (North) Carolina. Then I thought :lex_10: don't even go there, this family makes stuff up as they go along.

I think that Casey doesn't really know who the father of Caylee is. I keep thinking about that picture of her passed out in the car and I think, the father could be most anyone. Is that terrible of me?
She's lied about so much, I can't imagine it bothering her one tiny bit to lie about the father of her child. All they have is her word, and that's not worth squat.

If he died in SC, that's where alot of Marines do basic training, and isn't there a picture of a guy in uniform? I don't know if she knows or not. It just got me to thinking, because this is the first time I heard Lee say something like that and that the news could probably figure it out. Strange is nt the word for this family.

Baby Sitter Remains Mystery
Deputies are still trying to figure out exactly when Caylee vanished and are not ruling out that her mother, Casey, may have posed as the mystery baby sitter no one can find.
Casey Anthony maintains the last time she saw her daughter was the day she dropped her off with a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez at the Sawgrass Apartments in Orlando.
According to the original arrest report from July 15, someone by the name of Zenaida Gonzalez looked at an apartment on April 17, 2008.
Local 6 has confirmed with apartment managers that the incident didn't happen in April but on June 17.
The date is important because Caylee was last seen two days before on June 15, Local 6's Lauren Rowe said.
Sawgrass managers said on June 17, someone came to inquire about an apartment.
Investigators said the person filled-out a guest card using the name Zenaida Gonzalez and the person who wrote it had sloppy handwriting.
Someone misread the date when filing out an original arrest record, Local 6 reported.
Sources told Local 6 that when apartment managers tried to follow up with the woman after June 25, the phone number she gave was no longer valid.
And the apartment where Anthony said she left Caylee had been vacant for about six months, Local 6 has learned.
Investigators said they located a woman named Zenaida Gonzales but she said she'd never heard of Caylee or Casey.

Wow...I never thought of that...but it could be...Casey pretending she was Zanaida and trying to rent an apartment under that name....

WOW,WOW, WOW! I *knew* this was comin'! I just KNEW it! Cindy is now saying that Casey did not drop that car off at the Amscot!! But we have Tony that can verify that she called to come and pick her up from there.. RIGHT?
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIP.../05/ng.01.html
EXCERPT from NG show:
GRACE: The search for Caylee.
ANTHONY: All right. Here`s the thing. Your expert witness, who has some, you know -- some experience in this doesn`t have the exact experience that I have. And I -- you know, I understand that he has a perspective that a lot of people don`t have. But to compare Casey to O.J. Simpson, that she had no way out.
Casey had a way out if she wanted to not be a mom anymore. Casey lived in a loving family and so did Caylee. Casey knew that any time she had any opportunity -- and obviously if you guys have photographs of her over the last few years going out and enjoying her life -- you know, enjoying life as a 22-year-old and a 20-year-old and a 21-year-old, and a 19-year-old normally would, she had that opportunity.
So someone needs to step back for a minute and think what changed? What would make sense? Well, what we`ve been saying all along that someone took her daughter. Casey has not an irresponsible mother. She did not leave her car. She`s not embarrassed. I mean to say that it`s an embarrassment that she`s trying to sit in jail to cover up, you know, to think about a cover-up for an embarrassment?
Casey`s a mom that puts an extra key in her pocket every time she takes her daughter in the car because she`s afraid if she tries to grab too many things and she leaves her purse she doesn`t want to lock the car and not have a key that she can get in there and get her purse back out or to take care of her daughter.

Cindy doesn't want to face the fact that Casey hated her enough to make sure that Caylee was never raised by Cindy. Casey and Cindy are just alike...its all about them and making other people the enemy to justify their own actions. If Cindy ever wants to get the truth out of Casey she's going to have to make her mad enough to throw the truth in Cindy's face.

Either that, or Caylee was already dead by that point, and Casey had to come up with a fictitious babysitter.
Here's another possibility as well. Casey may have been the one that stole the real Zenaida's computers on the 9th and was trying to steal her identity.

George Anthony, Cindy's husband and grandfather of missing 2-year-old Caylee Anthony, said late Tuesday night that the gas cans stolen from his shed were taken by his daughter, Casey.
Speaking to Greta Van Susteren on FOX News Tuesday, night Anthony said that he found the missing cans in the back of Casey’s car. The cans were seized earlier in the week by investigators as evidence.

Exactly, which makes you think, if the speculation that it could have actually been Casey that posed as Zanny filling out that card, then there was already a plan in place and something probably happened to Caylee on the 15th, 16th or 17th. Just a thought.

*On Greta.. George mentions that on June 24th is when he last saw Casey. Thats ALSO when he discovers the gas cans in the trunk of the car.
-- Knowing what we now know about this freakazoid family.. do we think that George would have mentioned if there were a horrible smell in the trunk at that time?
Lets say there wasn't a smell in the trunk on the 24th..
THEN...
According to the timeline... the car is abandoned:
JUNE 27
*On or about this date an abandoned car is noticed in the parking lot of the Amscot store.
Could June 24th- June 27th be an approximate time as to when something was done with Caylee?

That does make sense. Then maybe Casey didn't go out clubbing after Caylee went missing? That would be a comforting thought, as far as Caylee's sake is concerned.
Something of note~in the police report George says two 5 gallon cans@$50. Now last night on OTR George says something like a 1 1/2 gallons and 2 gallons. Why can't these people stick to a bloody story?????

I am so worried about those gas cans. I do hope Caylee is alive and well though all points to NOT!
I just can't get past her unemotional talk when speaking about Caylee. I feel she has disassociated herself from the whole ordeal. She makes up lie after lie so who can tell what is truth.
I posted a link to Brians predictions and he feels that baby is dead in a park, the same park once investigated. I wonder if they had those cadaver dogs checking out that park. I am also very curious at what evidence that trunk of the car holds. Authorities will only make public what is necessary and hold the most damning evidence quiet, until....
Here is what Brian posted....
"It was an accident, dugs could not cover up the pain * blue t-shirt in bedroom * trash was removed * police have just searched the park, she was there"
"conway water Orlando Florida * flowers meet the water, go back, red"
Travis, I need your advise on this one...this is what I found so far.
Brian
UPDATE: 7.27.208 - I would check and see if Caylee's mother had recently ordered rx drugs from the web or other sources than from a doctor...if it's not already been done.
When I tune in to Caylee Anthony I feel that she was in the trunk of a car being transported. Hair or other fiber evidence would certainly be in this trunk. From the trunk she was taken to an outdoors place with lots of tall grasses, and coarse fern like plants. the ground is very mucky. There is also a cinder block building near by which I believe may be white in color. This area has a “park” feel to it, yet this cinderblock building is secluded or set back from were many people would be. This building may be a maintenance building or storage building of some kind.

Reminds me of another female writer for the Orlando Sentinel, can not recall her name at the moment but same writing style.
Reminds me of Lauren Ritchie

Lauren Ritchie?? She was very anti-NG during Trenton Ducketts case. In fact, IIRC, she was believed to be posting/reading on internet sites.

Thanks for the link. He does make a good point, BUT...I have to say the public who are outraged at the way this family is covering up is not completely due to the media sensationalizing Casey's breasts.
Many of us strongly desire for this little girl to come home and open presents, (most of us believing "home" won't be the Anthony house), this weekend, but because of so many "mistruths" at every turn this probably won't happen any time soon.

It's hard to blame the media when Cindy has been so visible in front of cameras. She could simply keep her mouth shut and the media would lose interest. Instead, she repeatedly goes on air and feeds the fodder herself. The media circus is as much Cindy's fault as anyones.

Cindy stopped to answer reporter's questions Wednesday morning before leaving her home.
Cindy said her daughter, Casey, believes her missing 2-year-old daughter Caylee could be in trouble. "Casey is telling us Caylee's life is in danger," she said.
Cindy canceled her scheduled visit to the Orange County Jail on Tuesday to see Casey because she says by her going, someone may think Casey would tell her something more information about the toddler's disappearance, putting the toddler in additional danger.
Cindy could've kept walking without opening her mouth. She chose to stop and make a comment.

I was thinking about NG when watching Megyn at FOX grill Cindy week before last.
I was thinking, "Megan - you should thank your lucky stars that this crazy girl is locked up and can't hurt herself as Melinda Duckett did".
I have heard some extremely pointed questions come from media to the family in this case. Any of them could send a suspect over the edge if they were so inclined.
imo.
(and this is in re: to the OrlandoSentinel article and the views held by that newspaper to NG, who yes has a circus-like thing going for her but isn't afraid to ask hard questions).

Heres something.. thinking out loud here:
Could June 24th- June 27th be an approximate time as to when something was done with Caylee?
scout...we've all been saying we think that's when it happened...between June 24th and June 27th....

I don't see that happening. Cindy has an amazing sense of self-importance. She wants to talk because she thinks she knows it all and she has to impart that knowledge on us simple minded folks. And I don't think this is a new trait. I'd lay bets she's been this way all her life.

My mind keeps going back to these two parts in the 911 call.
Cindy: yes. I got her. I finally found her after a month. She's been missing for a month. I found her but we can't find my granddaughter.
Cindy Anthony: My next thing will be child's thing and we'll have a court order to get her if thats what you wanna play. We'll do it and you'll never...
http://www.myfoxorlando.com/myfox/My...1&locale=EN-US
So the Anthonys had not seen CASEY herself for a month.
Too, Cindy was saying she was going to court to get custody of
Caylee and Casey would never see Caylee
again.............That's what I get from those statements.
I think there'd been problems with Casey and the care
of Caylee for a while and not just during that 911 call.

I guess I was speaking in general about media and not trying to out the OS but since they are the target here or so it seems, the autopsy photos of anyone are public record UNLESS there is an active criminal investigation.
I agree that George and Cindy have opened themselves up to criticism and it is pretty easy to do seeing how George was almost cartoon like in his animated video discussing how Myspace friends turn against you, really how prophetic!

I can't stop thinking about the nerve they have in asking for people to work for them for 24/7, travel for them, and in general do all the things the family of a missing person would do. It's as if they are tired of it now and want to pass the baton without seeming to do so. I can't image they haven't had people volunteer before they ran the ad.
Asking for help is one thing, but asking for that kind of help is closer to making a point than getting serious assistance. And I get the point loud and clearly.

I do believe those statements, along with what Cindy posted on her blog, are good clues as to exactly what was/is going on in that family pertaining to Casey & Caylee.
Reading between all the lines, Cindy had reservations as to how Casey had not been caring for Caylee.
I believe what Cindy said to 911 and on her blog to be closer to how she felt/feels about Casey and her lies. For whatever reason, she keeps saying the opposite to the media. IF only I could figure it out!
Even the few friends of Caseys that have made statements, all say Casey changed when she met the new crowd of friends, i.e., the ones that work/hang at Fusian.

I bet they have turned down many people willing tp search!

We are sitting on a bench at the airport trying to decide whether to board our plane in 45 minutes or stay down here in Orlando. We just got word of some new information and if we can get the interview to go with it, we will stay……we have another unrelated interview scheduled for 5pm in the DC area and thus the interest in returning to DC…right now we are just working the phones. Will keep you posted…

The guest card completed at the apartment complex should contain finger prints, shouldn't it?
I think it is highly likely that Casey herself completed that card. And I can't believe the FBI or LE didn't run it for prints.

VAN SUSTEREN: Has she been formally charged now? Because I heard that something today that she was going to be. Do you know if…
CINDY ANTHONY, MISSING CHILD’S GRANDMOTHER: Yes. Actually, I just spoke to her attorney as I pulled in the driveway — I just got home a few minutes ago — and confirmed because I had heard, you know, rumors about 10 to 15 minutes prior to speaking with him. And it was actually — it wasn’t a surprise to him, wasn’t a surprise to us. I mean, that’s the reason that they were holding her for, was willful child neglect and withholding vital evidence or something from the authorities.
But right now, I mean, he’s — her attorney and I am looking at this as a victory because if they had something else to charge her with, they certainly would have done that today. So that just tells us that they don’t have anything on Casey. And they’re not going to have anything on Casey. So they want to keep her there because they think she’s going to crack and she’s going to tell them exactly where Caylee’s at. I mean, one thing I know for sure is that Casey knows who has Caylee, but she doesn’t know where Caylee’s at. And I know one thing for sure is that, you know, Casey is determined that she’s going to protect Caylee until the end. If it costs her — you know, her being behind bars the rest for life, she’s going to protect Caylee.
VAN SUSTEREN: Do you 100 percent believe your daughter?
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes, I do.
VAN SUSTEREN: George, what about you, 100 percent?
GEORGE ANTHONY, MISSING CHILD’S GRANDFATHER: More than 100 percent. I just had a chance to meet with her on Sunday.
VAN SUSTEREN: And?
GEORGE ANTHONY: For 43 minutes out of 45 minutes I got a chance to spend with her, all we did was talk about was Caylee, about her birthday, you know, so many different things that are going to be happening here. She wants to be home for that. So I believe my daughter. She’s going to be fine, but I want my granddaughter home. She’s going to be fine, so…
VAN SUSTEREN: Now, the police say that she’s — that she lies, you know, that she lied about her job, that she’s given them a couple — a runaround. What do you know about this? Do you know anything at all?
CINDY ANTHONY: I haven’t had a chance to sit down and talk to Casey about, you know, a lot of different things, and I’m sure we’ll have a big conversation when I have the opportunity to do so. You know, lying is not a criminal offense. You know, lying doesn’t mean that you’re a murderer.
VAN SUSTEREN: Let me talk about the timeline. We talk about finding Caylee, and the best way to do it is sort of explore it by looking at the timeline. June 13, there is video of her from a Father’s Day event, right.
CINDY ANTHONY: No, it’s June 15, Father’s Day, which was mistaken early on because, you know, I never even thought about what day Father’s Day was. I just — I knew it was a Sunday in June I had taken that video, and I knew that was the last day that I physically saw her, even though I knew where she was sleeping the next morning. My husband actually saw Caylee and Casey leave on the 16th of June.
VAN SUSTEREN: All right. So the 15th is Sunday, Father’s Day. Everything’s normal, everything’s fine. The next morning is the last day that either you or George saw her. Do you remember about what time of day it was?
GEORGE ANTHONY: Oh, specifically. I remember it was 10 minutes to 1:00 on Monday the 16th.
VAN SUSTEREN: So in the middle of the afternoon or early afternoon.
GEORGE ANTHONY: Yes, it was shortly after the lunchtime hour. I was watching a favorite show I like to watch on TV, a news…
CINDY ANTHONY: Before you go to work.
GEORGE ANTHONY: Yes, it’s was a Food Channel thing I watched, so…
VAN SUSTEREN: And was it — you were watching here in the living room.
GEORGE ANTHONY: Right, and I was sitting right here, almost in the same spot, just watching it, and saw my granddaughter and my daughter come out, you know, with their backpacks and…
CINDY ANTHONY: Like any other day.
GEORGE ANTHONY: Just like a normal thing type thing.
VAN SUSTEREN: Do you know where they were headed with the backpacks?
GEORGE ANTHONY: My daughter said that she was going to work, dropping her daughter off at the nanny’s house, and that was it. I give them both hugs, kisses and saw them go out the door like a typical thing that they’ve — that she’s done.
VAN SUSTEREN: Nothing out of the ordinary?
GEORGE ANTHONY: Just smiles, hugs. Dad, we’ll see you tomorrow because I might be working a little bit late, type deal. And that was it.
VAN SUSTEREN: Now, I know you won’t reveal the details, but can you just tell me, has Casey told you what has happened to that child?
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes. In her way. And I can’t reveal that.
VAN SUSTEREN: But in her way — so that, I mean — I know, George, that it was at least reported that you came out the other day and said that Casey said that Caylee was close, which is, you know, rather vague. Is that — is that the kind of information that, Cindy, you have, or do you have, like, specific information that satisfies you?
GEORGE ANTHONY: She just feels that Caylee’s close, she’s still safe.
CINDY ANTHONY: And I think you can interpret that in a couple of ways. Close meaning within the central Florida area, close meaning in the neighborhood — I don’t think that’s what she means — close to maybe coming home. There’s a lot of different ways to interpret that. My interpretation is that she’s, hopefully, in this area.
VAN SUSTEREN: I guess it’s not so much the comment, but I’m wondering whether she was — you know, that she spoke the same way to you in conveying the information, you know, which is sort of code or vague, or whether she was much more specific with you, so that you say to yourself, Cindy, I know what happened, and I understand now why it has transpired as it has.
CINDY ANTHONY: No, I think that is just a genuine (ph) statement. I don’t think that was a code. I think that’s her gut feeling. Again, she’s maintained all along that she doesn’t know the physical whereabouts where Caylee’s at. She knows who has her, who’s responsible for taking her, but she does not know the physical whereabouts.
And this is her mom’s room. This is Casey’s room.
VAN SUSTEREN: This is Casey’s room. And you told me that Caylee oftentimes slept with her mother, right?
CINDY ANTHONY: Oh, she — almost every — every night, she slept in here, from the time she was born.
VAN SUSTEREN: This is how the room is pretty much…
CINDY ANTHONY: This is how the room is always.
VAN SUSTEREN: And this is…
CINDY ANTHONY: Except for Caylee’s toys usually being on bed, a blanket, some stuffed animals, those kind of things.
VAN SUSTEREN: Who’s the father? I mean, that’s the other big mystery that we don’t know.
CINDY ANTHONY: Caylee’s never had a father. He was a friend of Casey’s. He’s never been in Caylee’s life. He’s not on her birth certificate. He was a friend of Casey’s that lives out of state. By the time Caylee was born, he had already started another family, and he passed away earlier in the year. And again, his family never had knowledge of Caylee. And that was a mutual thing that Casey and he had agreed upon, that he was not going to be part of Caylee’s life. This is her life. Excuse me.
VAN SUSTEREN: I’ve never seen so many stuffed animals in my life.
CINDY ANTHONY: There’s more!
VAN SUSTEREN: There more?
(CROSSTALK)
VAN SUSTEREN: There are little monkeys — little monkeys, rabbits, tigers.
CINDY ANTHONY: You can tell the animals have been sleeping on her bed because her pillows are off of the bed. Tinker and Tillie (INAUDIBLE) up here (INAUDIBLE) since Caylee’s not here.
VAN SUSTEREN: And the baby picture? The baby picture?
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes. That has a lot of Caylee’s personality. That was in the hospital, what, two days after she was born. I mean, that’s Caylee, expression like, You know what? You better — you better behave, you know? She’s just got her eye on you, so…
VAN SUSTEREN: And over here, the toys and all the books. What is this? Oh, her birth — is this her first — this is her very — this is when she was born.
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes. I made that the first week, all those pictures within the first week of Caylee coming home. We had a baby shower. Caylee was born on a Monday night or Tuesday morning, and we had a baby shower for her on that Saturday. And this was a baby shower present that I put together for Casey, just within that week, with pictures Caylee’s birth announcement.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
VAN SUSTEREN: There’s much more of our interview with the grandparents in a few minutes.
But first, joining us live here on the ground in Orlando is former LAPD homicide detective Mark Fuhrman. Mark, it seems that by virtue of what the mother is saying — not the grandmother, the mother — but there are three choices. One is that Casey knows something, but is completely innocent. Another is that she knows something but is complicit, involved. And the third is that she did something. Because she’s not saying — she’s not saying, I don’t know anything.
MARK FUHRMAN, FMR LAPD HOMICIDE DETECTIVE: Well, when you look at this, you can hypothetically say that she’s a victim, along with her daughter. But the problem here is you have biological evidence in her car. She steals gas. She borrows a shovel. All these things kind of roll into a place that she’s involved, not some independent or some remote or some anonymous person.
VAN SUSTEREN: All right. We don’t have the biological information back. Certainly, it’s suspicious enough to warrant to send it for testing. Maybe there’s an innocent explanation. We’re still — you know, that’s still being looked at.
In terms of the gas cans in the trunk, what the parents — grandparents told us is that she had a problem with her gas tank, with some sort of gauge or sensor in it, and that she was bringing the gas along in the trunk. The sort of curious thing, and I think we’ll probably see that in a moment in the next segment, is that — in terms of the gasoline is that she broke open the home (ph) shed, busted the lock to get them.
FUHRMAN: Well, lookit, does anything make any sense? I’m just — I’m shocked at the lack of relevant information from this entire family. We have a lot of belief and a lot of intuition and, I stand behind. But as far as evidence, Casey holds something very dear to her right now, either the information that she was involved or the information that somebody else was involved or a third party.
And what she’s doing is, is she has completely removed herself from any normal emotion of a mother missing a child, and that is the most disturbing part for me.
VAN SUSTEREN: And of course, the police or the investigators need this information desperately.
FUHRMAN: They need it desperately, and if she’s the only one that can provide it, if she doesn’t provide it, then she is actually either the suspect or an accessory after the fact to the abduction and/or death of her own daughter.
VAN SUSTEREN: All right, Mark, if you’ll just stand by?
Coming up: More of our interview with missing Caylee’s grandparents. And for the first time, you will see the back yard where cadaver dogs sniffed and crime scene investigators dug, looking for evidence. That is coming up.
And later, the jailed mother’s lawyer goes “On the Record.” The burning question, Is Caylee alive? And is her jailed mother afraid to say where her daughter is because she fears something horrible could happen to her? You will hear him.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
VAN SUSTEREN: Continuing now with missing Caylee Anthony’s grandparents, and for the first time, you will see the back yard that crime scene investigators dug up looking for evidence after Caylee vanished.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
CINDY ANTHONY: I was told that the dog was inconsistent on a hit here and…
VAN SUSTEREN: Here being right here at the house?
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes. And inconsistent where her sandbox was.
VAN SUSTEREN: Which is where?
CINDY ANTHONY: Where it’s at now, roughly.
VAN SUSTEREN: Oh, is this the sandbox?
CINDY ANTHONY: That’s the sandbox.
VAN SUSTEREN: That has a cover on it. OK.
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes.
VAN SUSTEREN: So there was — there was an inconsistent alert here.
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes, an inconsistent alert over in the corner of the house.
VAN SUSTEREN: Meaning over behind — near the pool?
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes.
VAN SUSTEREN: Now, so they never had, as you understand it, an alert. They rather had an inconsistent one.
CINDY ANTHONY: They had an inconsistent alert, so that’s why they explained to us why the brought the second cadaver dog in. The second dog did not alert in the same spots that they did.
VAN SUSTEREN: Did not?
CINDY ANTHONY: Did not.
VAN SUSTEREN: Did not. All right. Did…
CINDY ANTHONY: And there was nothing that they found that had any — you know, that they came up with any evidence.
VAN SUSTEREN: Does Casey say she borrowed a shovel from a neighbor?
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes.
VAN SUSTEREN: And what did she say her purpose of borrowing a shovel…
CINDY ANTHONY: To look (ph) for the bamboo.
VAN SUSTEREN: So to remove the bamboo, which grows very…
CINDY ANTHONY: Rapidly.
VAN SUSTEREN: … Aggressively.
CINDY ANTHONY: Right. It does. And if we don’t keep track of it — if I don’t get rid of that today, I’ll have other shoots coming into the rest of the yard.
VAN SUSTEREN: Do you not have a shovel that she could have used?
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes, we do have a shovel she could have used. But if she was here and we weren’t home — George and I made a decision when we started locking the sheds this year because last year, Caylee wasn’t able to do some of the things she can do this year. So we made a conscious effort to lock the sheds. We have three sheds.
VAN SUSTEREN: Are these the sheds were there was some report something was stolen from the sheds or broken into?
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes, and we actually need to replace a lot of stuff out here. But yes, this is one of the sheds that we would normally keep locked and normally keep the shovels in, which we do keep the shovels in. This is his toolshed. The lawn mower, you know, weed-whacker, that type of thing, shovels, axes, hoes, anything you do gardening work is locked up in here, like that. I mean, it’s a normal shed.
VAN SUSTEREN: Was something reported stolen from this, though?
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes, gas cans.
VAN SUSTEREN: When was that report made that gas cans were stolen?
CINDY ANTHONY: You’d have to ask George.
VAN SUSTEREN: Was that, though, before Caylee was — had been reported missing or after, that the gas cans…
CINDY ANTHONY: That was before.
GEORGE ANTHONY: Absolutely.
VAN SUSTEREN: And gas cans were — how many gas cans?
GEORGE ANTHONY: Two, the 2-and-a-half-gallon and one about a gallon- and-a-quarter, something like that.
VAN SUSTEREN: Now, you made the report on June 24, though. That’s when you noticed it. Do you remember when you last were in there, so you have some sort of window of when that could have happened?
GEORGE ANTHONY: It could have been Sunday. I believe I was in there Sunday. I don’t believe I was in there the day before that, like, on the 23rd. I’m almost positive it’s a Sunday.
VAN SUSTEREN: So the Sunday the 23rd, you might have been in there?
CINDY ANTHONY: Well, Sunday would have been the 22nd.
VAN SUSTEREN: All right. So as best you can tell, it happened between the 22nd and the 24th. someone broke in there.
GEORGE ANTHONY: Uh-huh.
That’s when I saw my daughter. I was getting ready to go to work, and the garage door goes open and my daughter comes in. This is about 2:25, 2:30 in the afternoon on the 24th. As she comes in the house, and I said, Hey, how’re you doing? And she says, Fine, Dad. I says, Well, what’s going on? And she says, Oh, I’m just stopping home for about 10 minutes, get some clothes. I go to go back to work. Where’s Caylee? She’s with Zanny. And I said, OK, when are you guys coming home? She says, Oh, we’ll be back home maybe late tonight or the next day.
I said, OK. Have you been talking to Mom? Oh, yes, I talk to Mom every day. I said, I know, but did you talk to Mom today? She sort of hesitated for a moment and she says, Yes. And she says, Oh, by the way, it’s a shame what happened in the shed. And I said…
CINDY ANTHONY: Yes, because (INAUDIBLE)
GEORGE ANTHONY: And I said, Really? She says, yes. I said, Interesting. And I just said, Hey, by the way, I said, I’m getting ready to rotate your mom’s tires on her car. There’s a little metal wedge that fits underneath your tires so your car doesn’t rock back and forth. And I said, Well, I’d like to have it, so in case you’re not here over the weekend, I’d like to be able to do it.
She was hesitant about letting me get in the car. And I said, Well, listen, I got an extra key. I’ll just go get it. Well, she was adamant about — about that.
VAN SUSTEREN: What, not letting you into the car?
GEORGE ANTHONY: Yes, didn’t want me to get into the car to get the stuff out. Dad, I’ll get it for you. Dad, I’ll get it out. I said, It’s no problem. I know where it’s at. I’ll get it, get it out and be done with it.
So as we’re walking out through the garage, she’s still telling me, Dad, I’ll get it. Give me a minute, I’ll get it. I said, Casey, I’m capable of reaching inside your car, and I got it. So — and she opened up the trunk of the car…
CINDY ANTHONY: The gas cans were there.
GEORGE ANTHONY: (INAUDIBLE) The gas cans there. She’s the one that took the gas cans.

that's the same timeline we've always had, isn't it?
But before it was based on Jesse's phone call.
Now we can base it on the gas cans too.
Warning: This is a tad graphic.
So we are back to this timeline. Lets say, god forbid, that Caylee is buried in the backyard on the 24th when Geo encounters Casey and the cans in the trunk (I'm assuming at he house). Geo doesn't see the stain if it's there at that time. Maybe Casey came back to get Caylee, Geo was home. She eventually leaves, but comes back later when no one is home and does the transfer.
I have a question that y'all prob can't answer. If that stain is blood, wouldn't that have happened right after death? If it was later, then I would think the stain would be just a decomposing body stain. Actually, it could be both. Killed, put in trunk, bled out, buried in back yard, put back in trunk for long enough for the smell to absorb in, then discarded. jmo

EXCERPT (LKL transcript)
KING: Today, state prosecutors filed formal charges against the 22-year-old mother of the missing two-year-old girl in central Florida. The mother, Casey Anthony, was charged with child neglect -- that's a third-degree felony -- and filing a false statement, which is a misdemeanor. She's held on bond, 500,000 dollars. That's the bail and those same charges since last month have been set and carried on. Her two-year-old daughter Caylee went missing in mid-June, wasn't reported until July 15th. Standing by at the Anthony home is Adam Longo, a reporter for WKMG TV, and in Orlando is Holly Gagne. Holly is a family friend of the Anthony's, has known the family for years. Casey Anthony, in fact, used to babysit her three boys and she's helping in the search for Caylee. Adam, what's the latest? Is there any chance of bail being posted?
ADAM LONGO, WKMG-TV: That is a chance at this point, Larry, because now that the state attorney's office has moved forward filed these formal charges, the defense in this case certainly has another opportunity to represent its case as far as why 22-year-old Casey Anthony, the client in this case, should have reduced bond. There had been some talk up to this point about appealing an initial bond hearing that happened several weeks ago, appealing it to the Florida State Supreme Court because it already went through an appellate court. That remains in limbo right now because these charges have been filed, Larry.
KING: What's the latest on the DNA testing, the stain in the car, the hair samples? Any results back yet?
LONGO: No, Orange County sheriff's detectives say they're still waiting for those results to come back. And interesting enough, if I can go back to the fact that the charges were filed today. It may seem counter-intuitive, but the defense and the Anthony family is actually saying that this is a victory, because they're saying the state attorney's office clearly doesn't have enough evidence to pursue any higher charges in this case. And they are convinced that this could bring Casey home sooner rather than later.
KING: Holly, you know Casey very well. She used to babysit your boys. What do you make of this?
HOLLY GAGNE, ANTHONY FAMILY FRIEND: There's a lot of confusion, Larry. And, you know, I have answered the question so many times that I just say that the Casey that I knew that babysat my children and that has been in my home and we've been friends with for six years would not harm her child or be a part of her child being harmed in any way.
KING: So you're totally shocked?
GAGNE: That is putting it lightly. That is putting it lightly, yes. When my husband and I had gotten home from our vacation and we heard the news, we went straight to Cindy and George's home, which we were their neighbors for over three years. And I just fell into Cindy's arms and I said, what is going on? And she said, you know, at that time we just don't know. There's been so many twists and turns, Larry, that, you know -- and there's so many scenarios. But in my mind and in my opinion, a scenario that she harmed her child, that she hurt her child, that she knows her child is not alive and she's torturing her parents and putting us all through this, I don't believe that.
KING: Adam, reporter, supposedly photographs have surfaced of Casey Anthony at a nightclub, reportedly taken several days after her daughter disappeared. A freelance camera man says they were taken on June 20th. Where has that gone?
LONGO: Well, Cindy Anthony herself, Larry, has said a lot of people have come out of the woodwork. Being in the media, a lot of people have come out of the woodwork. Until somebody can prove to me beyond -- make it conclusive that these photos were actually taken on the date that they said they were taken on -- that hasn't been proven to my -- I wouldn't go on with confirmation of that right now, Larry. I wouldn't be comfortable in doing that. That's still hanging out there right now.
KING: Adam, thanks for outstanding reporting. Holly will be back with us and we'll have other guests as well. This intriguing case gets more intriguing daily. Don't go away.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
CINDY ANTHONY, CAYLEE's GRANDMOTHER: I just found out that they did charge her formally today, which actually is a good thing because of what they charged her with. They didn't charge her with anything but voluntary child neglect and withholding evidence. If they had anything concrete on her, I think they would have used that today.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
KING: Holly Gagne remains with us, the family friend. In Pittston, Pennsylvania is Dr. Lawrence Kobilinsky, forensics expert and professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Here in Los Angeles, a familiar face, Mark Geragos, the well-known defense attorney. And in Miami, Stacy Honowitz, assistant Florida state attorney. Dr. Kobilinsky, DNA tests on the stain, the hairs found, et cetera -- do you think DNA is going to crack this case?
DR. LAWRENCE KOBILINSKY: It very well might, Larry. I think with any DNA test you need to be able to compare the question sample against an exemplar. I think during the second search of the home, the crime scene investigators recovered several items. And I think the reason why they went there was to gain an exemplar or a pseudo- exemplar of Caylee's DNA. Now they should be able to compare that with the DNA in that stain and know if it was Caylee or not.
KING: Now, Stacy, did prosecutors have to charge her?
STACY HONOWITZ, ASSISTANT FLORIDA STATE ATTORNEY: Yes, well, everybody was -- yes, well, everybody was flipping out, saying they didn't have enough time and she was going to walk. The bottom line was they had 21 days to charge her, and then they had 33. The max they could do was 40 days. It wasn't a matter of never charging her. It was just a matter of releasing her on her own recognizance. The state could always come back and charge her with information.
Now formal charges are pending, and I'm sure, probably, they're going to move for another bond reduction. That's going to be the next move.
KING: Mark, this is not a homicide case.
MARK GERAGOS, DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Not yet, hopefully not. But I agree with the grandmother who was on there. Short of dismissing and releasing her, getting charged, at least now she can apply for a bail reduction, potentially get out. I'm sure they can do some kind of a property bond and she could walk out the door. For a while here, it was somewhat ridiculous, I think, to have held her basically without bail and not do anything. And so at least at this point they can move forward. Her lawyers can see what they've got.
KING: Holly, do you think the public has convicted the mother?
GAGNE: Oh, Larry, everyday and twice on Sunday. Yes, they're showing these pictures over and over and over again. And Larry, I want to make a point. They're saying she's out clubbing and partying while her child was missing. However, if you were to look at the report, there's a tip from Jesse, a former boyfriend, that says he might have heard Caylee on the phone on June 26th, 24th, or 27th. So the time line is all messed up.
How can we think she's out clubbing, you know, and not caring about her daughter when someone says they heard her talking to her daughter at the end of June? You know, let's not crucify this girl, you know, until we know what's going on. And it's just not fair. It just is not fair and the media's taken it and they've run with it and they've just -- all you hear about is Casey, Casey, Casey, but the tips or things that are positive, you just hear a snip-it.
GERAGOS: While she's talking -- while she's talking, they're putting the pictures up there. We have no idea when those pictures were taken, yet they're being shown.
KING: That's like a pre-conviction, right?
(CROSS TALK)
KING: What else, Stacy?
GERAGOS: It's all of this she doesn't act right evidence. What about real evidence?
HONOWITZ: No, no, no, it's not just the pictures. That came after the fact. When you hear all of these conversations that she's had with her parents, with the police officers in the jail. Never once, as I mentioned before, has she ever mentioned trying to find this child. The public's crucifying her because they can't believe that this mother --
GAGNE: Can I comment on that, Larry?
GERAGOS: Once again, Stacy, it's she doesn't act right evidence, and that's an awful thing. It's become almost endemic for prosecutors and for people in general to say there's a certain way you've got to act. There was a woman in San Diego recently, Stacy, that you know, who was convicted on the doesn't act right evidence and the conviction was vacated. It turned out the guy wasn't even murdered.
HONOWITZ: Mark, I didn't say anything about murdering this child. I'm saying do you think, honestly, that this mother is acting rationally?
GERAGOS: Whether she's acting --
(CROSS TALK)
KING: One at a time.
GAGNE: Larry, I would like to comment on.
GERAGOS: Whether she's acting rationally or acting bizarre doesn't mean all of sudden -- That doesn't jump to murder.
KING: Holly, you want to say something? A little comment from the doctor.
GAGNE: Yes, I'd like to jump in real quick. They're not airing the phone call with her father or the interview with her father on Sunday where she was crying the entire time. They're not showing you the entire phone recording. They're showing you a snip-it to say, look at this mother. Just because you're acting irrational doesn't mean you killed your child, put her in the trunk of your car and --
HONOWITZ: I never accused her of murder at all.
GAGNE: I'm telling you what the media's saying and what they're saying down here.
KING: Doctor Kobilinsky, is this a rare case, from your standpoint?
KOBILINSKY: I wouldn't say so. Larry, it's a very circumstantial case. But as a criminalist I would say follow the evidence. You've got to see what the stain tells you. You've got to see whether the hair is postmortem. And you've got to follow the cell phone records, the phone records, and any other kind of evidence that will give us the entire picture.
KING: We've not heard the last of this, obviously. Holly and Dr. Kobilinsky, thank you. Mark Geragos and Stacy Honowitz remain. We'll be joined by Judge Alex Ferrer and Ed Smart. For more information, by the way, go to HelpFindCaylee.com. If Casey Anthony knows where her daughter is, why doesn't she just say so? Maybe some answers coming up.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
KING: Mark Geragos and Stay Honowitz remain with us. We're joined in Salt Lake City by Ed Smart. His daughter Elizabeth abducted from her home in 2002, found alive nine months later. And in Miami, Judge Alex Ferrer, the host of TV's "Judge Alex." Judge, do you ever judge anyone based on their actions? JUDGE ALEX FERRER, "JUDGE ALEX": Well, yes, everybody judges people based on their actions. In this case, this case is sadly similar to the Drew Peterson case. There isn't evidence of any wrongdoing, in the sense of the child being murdered or sold or given away or anything like that. But the reactions of the mother are completely different from what you would expect or what the public would expect from a mother who loses her two-year-old child, to go a month without reporting it? In fact, the mother didn't report it. The grandmother did.
So immediately while the system of justice will presume her innocent and wait to see where the evidence goes, the public is not that kind. The public looks at it and goes, something's wrong here. And something is wrong here. It's just a question of whether the evidence will lead to it.
KING: Ed Smart, what do you make of this case?
ED SMART, FATHER OF ELIZABETH SMART: I would love to hear from the mother. I really haven't heard her comments, her explanation. And I think that's really important to try and get some credibility on the subject. You know, the parent, I think when your child is missing, you would do anything. You would cooperate. You would try to, you know, give them any information possible to try and help find where your daughter is. And, you know, I'm anxious to hear what the mother has to say.
KING: With us on the phone is the grandmother, Cindy Anthony. The obvious question, Cindy, everyone asks, why won't your daughter talk?
CINDY ANTHONY, GRANDMOTHER OF CAYLEE ANTHONY: Well, Casey's maintained that she's protecting Caylee, and she's also protecting the family from physical harm. We believe that 100 percent. The reason I called in, I spoke to Nancy, is I had a question for Doctor Kobilinsky. He made a comment -- because I'm kind of intrigued when asking the authorities about what constitutes decomposition, things like that. He talked about check and see if the hair samples postmortem. I just want to know how can you determine a hair that's fallen off of someone's head, is it postmortem or is it just a hair that's fallen off on a normal thing, maybe shedded on clothes, and will sit there and decompose?
KING: Good question. Dr. Kobilinsky has left, but Stacy Honowitz might be able to answer it. Is there a difference?
HONOWITZ: Well, you know, hair transfers all the time, but I guess the forensics person would really be able to tell you whether or not there is a difference. Obviously, if he made that distinction early on, there is an ability for them to analyze it. He would not have said it if it wasn't the truth. They're able to make a distinction as to whether or not it's a transfer or --
GERAGOS: I'll tell you, my experience with the hairs and with this postmortem, there's a lot of courts that believe that's junk science. I wouldn't put a lot of stock in that. ANTHONY: Thank you. That's kind of what I'm wondering. We were also told that, you know, sweat cells, old blood, urine, those can also be used for DNA purposes. But my question is, how long, you know, is that something, because I know that car has had lots of hairs from all of our family. That's been a family car for at least seven or eight years.
KING: Hold it, Cindy, he's going to answer you.
GERAGOS: Cindy, actually the one thing they can do with hair with some degree of certainty is what's called mitochondrial DNA, which goes through the maternal line. They can take a sample of your hair and they could then --
ANTHONY: That just proves that its Caylee's hair, or Casey's hair or my hair or my son's hair, whoever's hair. But does that prove that that hair follicle fell off an article of clothing that was placed in the trunk, or did that fall off of a body that was placed in the trunk?
GERAGOS: They're never going to be able to prove, even if they find a hair that's in there.
ANTHONY: Then that's circumstantial evidence.
GERAGOS: That's all it is.
KING: Cindy, do you have any doubt? Are you convinced your granddaughter is alive?
ANTHONY: I'm absolutely 100 percent convinced she's alive or at least was alive when Casey gave her to the person she gave her to.
KING: Stay with us one more minute, Cindy. We'll be right back with Ed Smart, Judge Ferrer, Mark Geragos, Stacy Honowitz and Cindy Anthony. Don't go away.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JOSE BAEZ, CINDY ANTHONY'S LAWYER: We're not asking for immunity on anything because she doesn't know anything. She doesn't know where the child is.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
KING: We have a time limitation. Cindy, were you going to talk to your daughter today?
ANTHONY: I had a scheduled visit for her for 1:00 and I changed my mind early in the morning not to go.
KING: Any reason?
ANTHONY: Yes, because we never know when those video recordings are going to be released and, you know, the thing is, I have to figure out which is more important right now, me seeing my daughter or protecting Caylee. And right now, Casey is in a place where I know she's protected, Caylee's not. So what I have to do is make sure that I protect my granddaughter.
KING: Is Caylee about to have a birthday?
ANTHONY: Yes, on Saturday.
KING: She'll be what?
ANTHONY: Three.
KING: Three. Can she get a fair -- can we have a fair trial out of this, judge?
FERRER: Oh, absolutely. You know, we have had much more high profile cases than this, and the defendants get a completely fair trial. It's all a matter of jury selection. And if the jury selection does not render a fair and impartial jury, then you move the location of the trial. I remember when O.J. Simpson was aired -- his Bronco chase was aired all over the world. The joke used to be, knock, knock, who is there? OJ. OJ who? Welcome to the jury. They thought the trick was finding somebody who never heard of OJ. But that's not true. It can be done. More publicity makes it difficult.
KING: Ed Smart, you might have a little sympathy for the mother in that during the time your mother was missing there were accusations about you.
SMART: There were accusations. I think that we tried to do everything we could to answer those accusations, and to change the focus from -- away from us back onto Elizabeth. And I think that's what needs to happen. So much time is being spent focusing on the mother that, you know, it's just sad to see the attention go away from where it needs to be.
KING: Mark, this is a puzzlement, is it not?
GERAGOS: It's puzzling. It's strange. But at the same time, as Ed says, he spent a lot of time trying to meet the accusations and there were wild accusations about Ed at the time. But she's in a different position. She's behind bars. She's fighting for her liberty. That makes it entirely different. The calculation of her defense lawyer is entirely different than the calculation that Ed had while he was out.
KING: A prosecutor here, Stacy, is searching for the truth or anxious to convict?
HONOWITZ: Searching for the truth. That's what our job is. I know Mark's probably cracking up. I can't see the monitor, but I know he's probably laughing at that. That's the bottom line. The thing is, she holds the key to everything. Everyone is accusing her and being, you know, cross with her because she's the only one that knows. And if you listen from day one, the statements are so inconsistent that nobody can get a grasp on why she just won't say here's where my child is. That's all that matters.

WOW!!! I spoke to Amanda at Sawgrass Apartments. After asking her the question about how long they keep the guest cards on file, her voice lowered and she said, "whom am I speaking too?" So I told her my name and she said, they keep the cards on file in the office for a year then keep them for 7 years in storage.
