:madranting94dp:I can't believe Brett Farve is gone! :madranting94dp: I can't believe the Packer management is giving a living legend away to the Jets! Who does that?
I think he was forced into making a rush decision to retire. He wasn't ready, and still has 1 or 2 more great years!
Time will tell if Aaron Rodgers will be the one to lead the Pack. I will give him a chance but I will always be a Brett fan!

Its gonna be a hoot if GB comes out on the bottom this season or close on stats, and Bret comes out to be the best investment the Jets have ever made! JMHO

Local TV just said that they WILL NOT be retiring Brets jersey on the home opener as planned, Monday night football. They also said that they are reconsidering renaming "Military" and another Street after Bret :groan:
Brett, Brett, Brett did you not take a look at the Joe Montana Play book?

I saw Brett on the NFL channel this morning giving an interview. He was so emotional that I just wanted to cry for him. I believe the Packer G/M gave him a raw deal and basically told him that they had moved on and that he needed to move on with his life also. I too hope that they find themselves at the bottom of the totem pole during the entire season and never make it to another play-off game. In my opinion, they have cut off their nose to spite their face. I say good luck to Brett, he is one fine gentleman, excellent QB and has the fortitude to withstand this mess that he has been thrown into. JMO

From what I'm hearing on local, GB sports reporters. Aaron's on FIRE. :happy0158::hifive::girl_haha: at training camp. We'll see what the season brings.

See the Joe Montana post above. LOL Joe went to KC and fell WAY short and was welcomed back to SF. after his Retirement, nonretirement, saga. :francis:
