Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Brown hair, blue eyes. Carver's ears are pierced.
Clothing/Jewelry Description: A clear face mask, neon green flippers with fins and black leading down the sides, possibly booties or gloves, a gold wedding ring with a woven rope inside the band and identifying script, a brand new dive watch with a silver face and a silver band, and seven-millimeter full-body 43 Dacor black wetsuit. The wetsuit has the word "Dacor" in white lettering on the outer sleeves, a white logo on the chest of a circle with a diver, thick plastic shin guards and a back zipper.

Details of DisappearanceCarver as last seen at her residence in the B & B trailer park in Seneca, South Carolina. She shared the home with her boyfriend at the time. She left at approximately midnight with a companion. Her companion lated stated Carver got out of the car at Goddard Avenue to walk home. Carver was reported missing on June 20; her parents became concerned when they did not heard from her on Father's Day. It is uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning; she had never been more than a few days without contacting her family. Due to the people she associated with and the circumstances of her disappearance, authorities suspect foul play may have been involved in her case. It remains unsolved.

Details of Disappearance
Carver was last seen during the evening hours of June 16, 1998 in Seneca, South Carolina. She was inside her residence at the B&B Trailer Park in the Utica community at the time. Carver has never been heard from again. She purchased a new vehicle prior to her disappearance, but the car was discovered parked near her home on the following morning. Her family members reported her as a missing person on June 20.
Carver's loved ones said that it is uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning. Her disappearance is considered suspicious and her relatives are concerned foul play was involved. Carver's case remains unsolved.

The MPCCN is a no longer functioning website, almost a precursor to Charley Project. The MPCCN has not been updated in forever and a day...and never will be. If this case is removed from the Charley Project files, you can be assured the case is closed.

Lauren, do you know what happened? Is she alive?
I had just printed out the ones still listed as SC missing adults last weekend and she was still there. Do you know when the case was solved and closed?

I guess someone needs to call Oconee LE and check to find out if she has been found alive and well or deceased.

Is there a picture of Sheila anywhere? I checked around but haven't found one yet.

Yes, I'll find it. Lauren says since she was removed from Charley Project she was not missing any longer. But I have not seen anything to tell me she has been found. Dead or alive. If you haven't already done so, read the discription and details of disappearance again. Now, I posted it, so it is my fault for not reading carefully. But....I didn't write it. :) I think she would have easily been spotted if the description was right. You will see what I mean. I will find the picture, it's almost 5 so I will in a little while.

I see what you mean, nana. My nephew is a cop with the Seneca PD. I'll give him a call and see what I can come up with.

Nephew is with the Seneca PD. He says the case is being handled by Oconee County Investigators, and suggested I give them a call on Monday. He said a rep of the website could call, or I could. He said that if they have any public info, they should give it to me.

Good. That's the same one I have and tried to scan. It just did not work for me. I had asked a local LE officer if he could check about Sheila but he hasn't gotten back with me yet.
